sorry donford I'm mac user
but I've notice on other computer with MS system and and brand new ms office that when opens csv it exchanges e.g. 459/2011 (agreement no/year) to date. Nobody could supply me a solution for this issue, so I added a space before the number and now I read it as text
MS in his save the world mission sometimes add features that are not really helpful
I am not sure but ... in google analytics Traffic sources--> Search Engine Optimization --> Queries you can chose secondary dimension "Google Property" and table will display searches from images. But it's only rough report about conversion. I didn't find any other solution in GA.
Maybe adding tracking code to images is kind a solution
I got the same problem couple a weeks ago and I change a file extension to txt and next open in spreadsheet and I've got a good structure.
maybe it will help you
Hello again,
They are the same.
And I assume that interpretation is the same because default state is:
**<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="ALL"> **that means index, follow
and you can decompose every tag to parts:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="FOLLOW">
and that tells robot to noindex, but do follow is default so if you don't use this tag robot will follow anyway.

Hi Peter,
Read an Google article first: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=93710
and then you can read http://www.robotstxt.org/meta.html
Take in the consideration that many robots especially malware simply can ignore that tag. So on the end your site can appear in SERP's despite you use "noindex". More information about indexing: http://www.robotstxt.org/faq/indexing.html
When you think about googlebot it respects "noindex" tag. The best place to tag is section. Make sure that your robots.txt doesn't block a robots

It looks like you did a big mess in your blog, SeoMOZ says "Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical." and nothing more.
How to use - description is in On-Page Report Card in Critical Factors section.
"ExplanationIf the canonical tag is pointing to a different URL, engines will not count this page as the reference resource and thus, it won't have an opportunity to rank. Make sure you're targeting the right page (if this isn't it, you can reset the target above) and then change the canonical tag to reference that URL."
Take Care, M.
Hi Brandon,
As I know yahoo catalogue were moved to Bing, and all your information should be there: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster
Hi you can use On-Page Analysis Report to optimize your pages for particular keyword (page by page) or wait few weeks when robots do this inside your campaign.
Hi Rasmus,
User-agent: *
Disallow:
means that all robots can enter the site
User-agent: *
Disallow: /
block all robots to enter.
User-agent: WebCrawler
Disallow:
block WebCrawler robot, but other can enter
Always first line of robots.txt tells what robots can crawl a site and * means all. Second and next lines are pointing specific catalogues on a server e.g. Disallow: /admin/
So I think that is not a robots.txt issue - please ensure me
Hi Steve,
Could you please tell me how? What specific technical solution you use?
Thanks, Marek
It does not look right cos it was a virtual pageview tracking or mixture of both methods.
_trackPageview() creates a virtual directory structures and _trackEvent() creates an event...

Hi,
I think that it's better to use event tracking than virtual page-view tracking.
Syntax and parameters explanation
_trackEvent(category, action, opt_label, opt_value, opt_noninteraction)'```
[]);">Download](#)
where:
-category (required) - e.g. Maps (The name you supply for the group of objects you want to track.)
- action (required) - e.g. Download (A string that is uniquely paired with each category, and commonly used to define the type of user interaction for the web object.)
- label (optional) - e.g. EuropeMap or filename map.pdf (An optional string to provide additional dimensions to the event data.)
- value (optional) - An integer that you can use to provide numerical data about the user event. It is very complicated to quick explanation and usage, you should read full article and additions like: Implicit Count.
- non-interaction (optional) - set it for "true" (A boolean that when set to `true`, indicates that the event hit will not be used in bounce-rate calculation.)
In this link you can read full google help article: http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/tracking/eventTrackerGuide.html
In your case syntax will be: [](http://www.example.com/files/map.pdf)
[Then go to analytics to "Content" section of the reports and view Event Tracking an you will have:
category: PDF
Action: Download
label: MyMap
and count .... count how many events you have
Wish you a huge number of downloads.
M.](http://www.example.com/files/map.pdf)
If you think about white
you should consider find on the ...internet... trust rank profiles and site catalogues (using e.g. MozBar and other tools) and follow the rule quoted by Mike ...
Sometimes less = better, smaller number of trusted profiles means pretty good juice for your site
Hi,
Did you use Bing Webmaster Tools ? If no just sign in, add a site, go to Index --> Submit url's and eventually add your site url's. It really helps
it's like pushing Bing to index your site url's.
I use it for every page despite Bing is not popular search engine in Poland - where I come from
Good luck!
Marek
PS. BTW I worked for biggest leasing equipment company in Poland for 15 years and still work for leasing industry, now as a consultant. WOW! world is so small
