Many users search our products by the product model:

something like Q2121X.

Some other users search by: hp 1320 printer

or just 1320 printer.

They will almost never search for hp 1320 new, or hp 1320 refurbished.

My website is developed in magento, and we have a SEO plugin in which I can put a template for the URL and also a template for the product title.

I was thinking for title and URL.

title + condition + productmodel

However many users search for: "refurbished printers"

and maybe its better that our products say something like this:

HP 1320 Refurbished Printer,

instead of:

HP 1320 Printer - Refurbished - Q2121X

Please let me know your suggestions.

I have about 400 errors about duplicate content on my seomoz dashboard. However I have no idea how to solve this, I have 2 main scenarios of duplication in my site:

Scenario 1:

3 products with the same title, but different product models, as you can note is has the same price as well.

Some printers use a different memory product module. So I just cant delete 2 products.

Scenario 2: toners

In this scenario, products have a different title but the same price. Again, in this scenario the  2 products are different.

As I am a SEO Beginner I wonder if the elements of the page will make a better or worse ranking.

I ask this because my boss asked to change the order of the elements.

As far as I know to rank well H1 tag should be present in all pages and it should be one of the first things in the page, it also should include the keywords.

I was checking and I think all links are important.  But I suppose that if I put a nofollow on the links on the left which are only for navigation purposes I can get rid of these warnings.

Any other idea?

but the location of the text does not matter? wheter if its in the top or in the bottom after the products?

Long time ago we hired a seo company to do seo in our website and one of the things they did is that they wrote long text on the category pages of our products.

Now my marketing person is saying that if its possible to put the text below the items, technically I will find out how to do it, but from your seo experience, is it good or bad?

Is it good for seo? taking into account that google does not crawl all sites every day I suppose.

It does benefit my user, so what you are saying is that I should ignore these warnings.

All the related products to one specific product are indexed by crawling another pages.

Example, the hp 9000 mfp above. has related product its toners.

However those toners are also accesed by the toner category page.

If you check, all our products have a RELATED products section and in some of them the related products can be UP to 40 Products.

I wonder how can I solve this.

I thought that putting nofollow on the links of the related products might fix all of these warnings?

Putting NOFOLLOW does not affect SEO?

Can I know the syntax for robots.txt to ignore those?

As you can see all parameters are needed, and my ecommerce solution generates them automatically.

How can I get rid of these warnings? I suppose that by using robots.txt, but I have no idea about it.

In my google webmaster tools I have already configured that these parameteres the crawler should not index them.
