Quick Question - Backlink From Penguin
WOW $1000 a link from a PR3 site is quite expensive, you can buy a few blog sites with PR3 for that amount or a PR4/5 domain name. The best links that you can get are the natural links by writing great, useful and interesting content. It will take longer of course to get the natural links vs the paid links but in my opinion they are far more valuable. Also with that $1000 I would invest into infographics, if you have someone create an interesting inforgraphic with useful data/information related to your business it could spread like wildfire and get you a good amount of natural links...

Half key word in brand name itself
All you have to do is when you build any links, use natural variations of the anchor text. Business Name Location Business Name Keyword Keyword Location Business Name Business Abbreviation City And so on. Too many links with the same anchor text are always unnatural to me. They scream manipulation.

Quick question : Is it ok to get 300 quality backlinks ...
IMO the only way to get 300 quality backlinks in a short period of time would be to have some content go SUPER viral and create natural links to your site. Rebekah's right. If you get 300 links because you sponsored an event, those very well could be considered paid links.

Quick question about bold italics keywords in today's SEO world
I do use in my pages, but only when it makes sense to do so. **Does it help search results? Probably not anymore. But It still represents a useful tool for highlighting calls to action or other text which you may want to attract the visitors attention too. Then if this increases interaction on the page, then you could say that its helping reduce bounce rate, thus its helping SEO.**

Small question about geo targeting
Thanks @Hannah @Moosa @Mark @Martijn @Deb for replying. I think that it is just a hint for google but it doesn't mean that it is going to block you from other countries. More than just a selection in the web master tool I think google will directly analyze your website and decide for which country your website is more "relevant" and of more "value to visitors".

Small Doubt about Google Keyword Tool Search Data
No - you haven't blocked visitors from other countries - you've just given an indicator to Google that your site is relevant for visitors from a particular country. If you have a site geared towards people living in the UK, you tell Google that this site is relevant for people in the UK. This will tell them the site should show up in UK searches or about a particular topic relating to the UK, but for a similar query in the US, the site is not relevant. You haven't blocked users from other countries so much as you've told the search engine this site should be shown for users from this country. If you're targeted a language based demographic, like Arabic speakers, you wouldn't use the geotargeting tool, because you want arabic speakers from multiple countries. That's how the tool works. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
