Yup, this is spam. If I was you, I would even block measuring the views from this sites in Analytics.

I own a blog, and except the contributors, there is nobody else working for me, for now.
BUT, I **work from office all the time. **My dad owns a company, and he lets me come and work there because I really enjoy the atmosphere.
In other works, when I am in the office, I don't have anything else to do but work.
If I work from home, there are thousands distraction that may come in my way.

Honestly, the ones that are reputable won't try to reach you. It's more likely that you will reach them, because they are known 
Firstly, I noticed that, as a technically marketing company...
... they have less than 1000 followers on any social network (except twitter, but it's easy to spam follow/unfollow there).
In my eyes, not trust-worthy.
Additionally, I checked their site on whois.com
The domain dates from 1999 so I believe they bought it because of the DA (49).
The above is not good metric for quality, but is my first step ... ALWAYS.
If i was you, I would search through-out their blog to see if their blog posts are good quality and full with good, deeply researched info.
If their blog posts are classic list posts, or curated posts or else, the signs are clear.
If they have original content, deeply researched, full with external links that link to other studies or I don't know what...
... then they probably know what they are doing.

2 reasons:
1st, and more important...
... the links they are building for you may only harm your rankings, if Google caught you.
2nd: From what you said, they are not SEO company. They are some scammy marketing (link building) company that probably goes Black Hat. What I believe you need, is more like on-page optimization.
Please, don't lose enthusiasm, blogging is business with **positive feedback loop. **It only goes up and up (if you don't do illegal stuff) and sometime, whenever it is, you will reach the sky.

For the facade, I suggest only changing either the Profile picture or the Cover because it's sexier if they are different.

As Gary said, it may not be harmful, yea.
But it bugs my eye to see issues like duplicate content in moz analytics.
Even if it's not that influential, it's the small things that make everything better.

Back in time, 'writing great, relevant, unique content for customers' was almost the same thing as 'writing for Google'.
Now, writing awesome and unique content is something more creative and probably harder (due lot of articles, I've read a infographic saying there are 159 million blog post published daily)...
...but 'writing for Google' is part of this creative and harder work, writing
