Facebook also makes available ways for a person to see and show off how many likes their page has, for example (see http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/ for a plugin you can use). I'm glad things are working for you now. During a birthday party, I responded to you on Twitter via my phone and directed you here, and checked several times and didn't hear back from you with further questions. I also responded to your private message on Facebook, and just again responded to you on Twitter (before I saw this, as your tweets didn't indicate things we working).

In the first paragraph of this Q&A, we do list the contact form for our help desk. I'll bold it to help make sure that the contact information is easier to spot.

I went to search.yahoo.com, entered site:atglimo.com, and also found the 10 external links to the domain -- including mashable. I've attached a screenshot.

On a different note, if you ever do get access to the server or can even just adjust the images, reduce the file size of your images, convert pngs to jpgs, and consider removing that picture at the top of every single page that pushes the content down on the screen. Your header, background, and main images all have large file sizes. Page load time is one factor in Google's ranking algorithm, as well as a factor with user experience.

It's not a 1:1 relationship. My site can have three backlinks from moz.com, but that only counts as one linking root domain (since the domain for each of those backlinks is moz.com). Does that help?

Your bio says you're with a brothel. While it may be legal in your area of Nevada, if the Google+ account had much relating to this, that could be a reason why it was suspended. Could you tell us a little more about the account?

David is spot-on here. You don't need to add any code, but Moz Analytics does work best if you connect it to your existing Google Analytics account.

A badly-spun article can also make your company look bad and incompetent. Do you really want your company name attached to an article that was written by a machine? And do you want a backlink from a spammy blog or directory that is filled with other such articles? You're not getting on most of the good sites with that type of article, as the good sites have humans that can spot these articles and leave them in an unpublished purgatory (at best) or ban the submitter/destination URL from that entire site.

Now that it's been a couple of months later, can you tell us what you decided to do, and anything interesting you found?

My first question: are you already in Google News, or are you trying to make your content so Google News will pick it up?

It looks like the original poster knows of these sites but is having difficulty finding good freelancers from these sites. Do you have recommendations for finding good freelancers through these sites?

If that automatically adding of the www is done by a 301 redirect, most or all of the link juice should pass. It also makes it so that if the user copies and pastes the URL from the address bar, they're getting your preferred version there, and are thus less likely to link to you with the non-www version.

Here's what Google itself has to say, from http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35291:

Advertising with Google won't have any effect on your site's presence in our search results. Google never accepts money to include or rank sites in our search results, and it costs nothing to appear in our organic search results.
