RE: New website launched
Will is right, use webmaster tools to verify your site and submit your sitemaps. Use G+ to share new content you publish moving forward and monitor indexation health in google webmaster tools.

RE: Setting up a Blog for more inbound links
In most cases it's probably best for site A to have its' own blog on sitea.com/blog or something to that effect. This ensures any links coming to the blog get attributed to the root domains' domain authority.
If Site B, the blog, is sort of a standalone brand on it's own, then you could make an argument for making a separate site for the blog. Most of the time this isn't the case though b/c if you are simply writing articles on another site and linking back to site a repeatedly this isn't a good strategy.
In this case site B would represent a "micro-site" and I have been advising clients away from those since 2009.

RE: Should sitewise links always be branded
Branded sitewide footer links should be ok as long as your domain isn't an EMD. If you do have an EMD then I would not use site-wides and go with advice of Irving about making them homepage only.

RE: Weekly Keyword Ranking Report Question
What do you mean by "Declined" category? Can you take a screenshot?

RE: Nav / Sitemap Question. Using a "services" page vs just linking directly to individual service page?
I think you are probably over-thinking this one. Adding another all-in-one services page isn't likely to move the needle. Instead of thinking about making another page I would focus on the ideas Doug is suggesting in creating link-worthy content ideas that show use cases for your products/services. For example if you do a case study featuring one of your customers and how you helped them you could probably get it picked up on a few relevant industry blogs and also get your customer to share it socially and maybe even link back to it from their blog. I would focus on giving people reasons to link to your content!
Hope this helps!

RE: Duplicate Content - Products
Yes it can be an issue. You should be implementing rel=canonical tags. If you use the rel=canonical tags you can tell Google which pages are "duplicates" and which is the original version. For ecommerce I usually recommend making the most product page in the most relevant category as the canonical and the other versions in other categories/subcategories are not canonical.
Hope this helps!

RE: What happens when content on your website (and blog) is an exact match to multiple sites?
It may not be getting them a manual penalty but it's definitely not helping them in the long term either. Creating unique and useful content is the only way to keep gaining organic search traffic in the long run.

RE: In alt tag of a image can we use #hashtag or domain.com ? Is that good SEO or not allowed ?
You could use that but it's not as good as using a short description of the picture itself. The alt tags are what Google uses to determine what the picture is of since they can't actually see the image. If you use keyword optimized alt tags that are natural not keyword stuffed then you will probably also bring in more Google image traffic.
Hope this helps,

RE: Is this an OK back link profile?
I wouldn't worry about the high number of zero's, they aren't disproportionately high to the rest of your link profile. I'm not sure how you got any negative 1's though? I would just make sure you aren't actively building any low quality links and focus on high quality content.
Hope this helps,

RE: Can anyone recommend a wordpress forum for commercial theme help
I know WooThemes and ElegantThemes both offer great forum based support. Customization and troubleshooting support is so important in WP projects that I only look at themes from developers that have engaged communities.

RE: Google plus inner pages.
I think you need your /author page to link to your personal google plus profile while the footer link should use the rel=publisher. Your post pages should have author bio's at the bottom with a link to that authors' archive page. Then your personal G+ profile should list your author page in the "Contributor" section.

RE: Does posting on Craigslist damage our SEO or reuptation?
In my opinion CL is great for the traffic it can drive but not good for link equity. I'm pretty sure they nofollow all of the links from Craigslist so the only real value is the traffic. If the listings are expired and still cached by craigslist I would suggest seeing if you can't login to craiglist to manage the ads either by adding new ones or possibly deleting old ones.

RE: Some badges will be sitewide, is that OK
Well it is reciprocal by definition but when there is useful editorial content surrounding the link it's different than a page full of links just pointing back and forth at each other.

RE: Some badges will be sitewide, is that OK
I'm not sure what business you are in but you could take a different approach. Instead of asking for links you could do your own editorial "features" of some of your authoritative blog owning alumni. You could push that on your own blog and then collaborate with them about covering the piece on their site with links back to you as the original source.
Might work but it does really depend on your niche and the relevancy of these blog owning alumni.

RE: Some badges will be sitewide, is that OK
If you can get the editorial links by all means go for those first b/c then you can get followed links and have zero risk of penalty. But the response above is correct in that you probably don't want to roll this out before the next major google algo update comes supposedly on Friday.

RE: Meta-Robots noFollow and Blocked by Meta-Robots
I agree with Mike, you do have a meta noindex nofollow tag on those pages but it is likely autogenerated due to a setting in WP to exclude any duplicate pages created b/c of URL parameters.

RE: Can a home page penalty cause a drop in rankings for all pages?
Yes it "could" be that your homepage has been penalized or has lost some back links. If so it would have a direct impact on the link juice flowing through to your other pages. The best thing to do is check out webmaster tools for any warnings. If you don't have any warnings then I would start digging into my link profile to see if any links have fallen off your profile recently.

RE: Wordpress Duplicate Meta Title Issue
Agreed, the Yoast SEO plugin for WP is by far the best WP plugin to manage meta's and titles.

RE: Some badges will be sitewide, is that OK
This sounds like a cautious approach. If you are only issuing 30-50 anchor text optimized badges and you vary the anchor text I think you're safe as long as relevancy remains intact.
