Would totally agree here - looks and smells like one of those "well past their best before date" link machine models...so stay the hell outta their world!

What Egol said is quite true...this has been debated for years....but those of us who don't care about the validations rank our own or our clients sites quite nicely.

Oh sidebar - you'd be so surprised to learn what kind of HUGE well known sites won't validate either....

oh - NAP means name address and phone # - I have no exp in the UK with phone #s but Google is damn smart at sussing out when a 'local' phone # aint so local here in NA...

Patrick Sexton is a pretty well known "tool" dude in the SEO world - I think if I remember correctly, he was David Mihm's original partner for the getlisted puppy...

That said, give this URL a try to one of his great online tools to audit EVERY image on a webpage and show you what needs attention when it comes to SEO for images...

Search for that user name here at moz....he's very very well known & respected in the SEO world -  but usually will NOT work for others....

I really have NO idea if Egol - who's over there I believe would even consider an SEO contract as I believe he works for himself...but if he does and you can contact him - he'd be the SEO god you need...

WAY too little info here to make a definitive counsel - but if you think - believe - know that this site will one day "be" a player in that channel - then I'd say YES! As it grows, so grows the link-juice you'd receive and the longer you're a "part" of that IBL type linking, you're going to be a happy camper.

That said - MONITOR it all the time - save the URL where the link is and then revisit it as should that site "go south" and lose any real value - it'd then be on that disavow list....this is good advice I believe for ALL IBLs...save 'em in Excel and then revisit to prove value....

Simple google for "title length for best seo" would show that after about 55/58 chars your title tag drops off...and I noted that your own is 69 chars...that's "old" thinking.

Search here at moz for title length etc and I remember that there are a couple of great blog posts on just how to craft same...

Yes. It matters...above the fold has proved time and time again that this is the best way to establish authority/trust based on UIX principles where conversions matter!

Also, I do not follow you with this comment "...a section based approach with copy further down the page..."

Can you provide some examples of HIGH ranking URLs with that type of 'below the fold' UIX?

Yeah, that kinda display trick is transparent to the googleBot....i.e. it's for users not bots...so it's not an issue...use them as you see fit...
