Frankly it is quite weird that you using great SEO plugIn and still have duplicate content issues. As far as I'm aware Yoast plug-in should add canonical URL's tag automatically if you have duplicate content on your website.
Did you modified Yast plug in? - If yes - set everything to default.
Changed it,s settings? - if yes - change everything to default.
Do you use fresh version of it? - if no - disable, uninstall, download and reinstall it again.

Your experience proved even more my assumption that Brand keywords are treated differently then generic once! So, it's - 2:0 at the moment! Would love to hear opposite!

Several times I have noticed that website receiving sort of a rankings drop penalty for certain wrongly built on-page strategies that involves keyword stuffing, wrong keyword density(too much) etc.
The question is - how you guys think - is branded keywords receiving the same treatment from Google then generic ones?
And here is why - for one popular brand I see that they ranking for their brand keyword very high(1th) but keyword density is awful - more then 10%. So, my guess is - if this keyword density you would apply for generic keyword you will end up nowhere to be found for it!
Is that could be truth? Any experiments info about that?

Schema.org/OG/Microformats will give you more benefits then Dublin Core. It was something like - 'wanna be' in the history of website coding and newer achieved the level to be a 'standard' practice of web coding. So, I would say it is worth of your effort only then if you can put Dublin Core meta data on your website without any effort:)

If you have logic behind it, If you can create this 'more' button that it does not reload page(Ajaxed) and it still indexes all text on the same page and if this is not something that will disturb visitors visually - definitely go for it!
Just remember the date when you will implement that and closely watch your conversions!

Yes and no! There should be golden middle way. Google will rank you better if you will put your text higher but you will have lower conversions because of this. Try to implement various designs and run split/multivariate testing. You will see exactly which version will be performing better!

Definitely yes! Everything that makes your user to harder remember url should be dropped! As you know, SEO friendly url's shouldn't contain any characters, numbers or unnecessary extensions. Just treat them as you would share them by the phone with your friend and you friend should easily find this url when he is Goggling it!
Now try to call me and try to convince me to remember your url - /wedding-dresses.html/f/price/2,100 - 
If you would tell me something like this - /wedding-dresses/dream - I would be much happier!

According to Google's placement rank (if I'm not mistaken the change of this Google's algo launched in the middle of the 2011) definitely there is benefits to present text like this :
There is no need to scroll down for it - Google favors that,
Lower bounce rate (users will most likely read at least beginning of the text before leave or hit back button)
More engaging - you have a chance to educate,grab attention etc.

That would be craziest think from me if I would put such kind of statement about responsive design. I newer told that responsive design is dangerous! I told that any technique to hide something that is not visible for humans and is visible for search engines 'could' be read wrongly by Google if not now then some day!
I wouldn't risk with my personal business with this. Any possibility for me that could lead to been blacklisted/penalized etc. is strict no no.
For me, to hide something in my website is bad and to show two different versions according to 'responsive design' is something completely different and it is good.
For example:
One day SEO/BH people will start to utilize this responsive CSS design/technique to manipulate their results in Mobile search. I can guess personally what will happen - Google will tell that they are not longer favor this design or they will 'ask' to tweak and twist it. Or, they can tell that they will favor something else. What will happen with my business!? - I will be forced to redo all my work and change design,coding etc. If I will have heavily developed platform at that time I will be forced to implement huge amount of work which will cost me thousands and thousands.
I would follow only proven values and not follow some trends that are not stable in this field even if that is obvious for now.
That was what I meant and that is what I'm saying now.

There are thousands and thousands websites in the past that used hidden attributes/CSS tricks, hidden divs etc. on the page. Please, refer this website - http://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/accessibilityseo-friendly-css-hiding/
Mostly all of those sites that used this techniques has been penalized. It is old BH technique and has been heavily prosecuted by Google in the past and now as well. I would be afraid to use any hiding techniques on my business website. You skipped most important part of my previous response - lack of case studies in this field (responsive design + hidden css) therefore I would not implement any hidden element on the page.

Responsive Design was talked about in 2009. The implementation of it rose sharply in 2011 and in 2012 it is widely adopted. So much so Google specifically recommends using Responsive Design.
Tell that to all the major companies who incorporated Responsive Design and have only seen benefits from doing such.
If you will browse around this topic and count the numbers of responsive design websites and websites that has been created in 2012 without this design feature - you will have some number that definitely is not -'widely adopted'. As I said before - It is just becoming popular as Google prefers it more and more and it may become a major trend whose real benefits we do not know yet.

It is always tricky
You question is quite dangerous to SEO world as it is something that is varies from case to case. As far we don't know the product, targeted market (luxury, high street?), analytic data (conversions,sales funnels?) and can't compare it - there is no clear answer to your question.
Conversion rate in organic search usually depends on the social activity, referral/quality traffic that converts, brand awareness and reputation of the brand. So, it is constantly varies even in seasons!
As far we don't know your situation we can't share our experience with you. And even if we would know - there is newer precise guarantee on anything as Google changing rankings/algo constantly and even if you can predict something you will be lucky if that will actually take place.
Instead to be magician and predict something I would investigate analytic account closely, pull data out of organic search from previous months, compare it and then show the owner this data and tell him possibility to increase the conversions via keyword visibility boost.

I would newer use any CSS tricks or whatever programming technique on my business site! I would rather go for other version on my site(for mobiles). Just present to Google mobile version without content that you think is not fitting in mobile screens. You newer know what will be in Google's mind in the future and safe play is always guarantee that you will not loose rankings/traffic when/if you will be forced to recode/change/delete something in website code!
Responsive design is quite new player in this field and as far there is no ranking/penalty etc. case study - do not risk!
Business is a business and unnecessary risk is newer appreciated.

Guys I would like to ask you to slow down a bit here
Everything that you mentioned indeed looks and feels like a spam. But I can't stress enough - software by it self newer is a spam....human behind it is!
Everything depends how you as a person will use it. Software just gives you flexibility to do whatever you like in one platform that could be very convenient! (I am not sales person for them)
As you all know that reputation management via social networks is very actual topic now and convenient management of all of those networks is something that I personally was looking to have. Buzz Bundle is in early developer stage at the moment and needless to say it's working quite bad. But I see tremendous potential there as idea, convenience of the use, brand management etc. is something that is taking most of my time. This platform will give you a chance to monitor all channels in one place and this is huge time saver.
As far 100 profiles goes - of course it is silly to do it as there will be records from your IP addresses and Google will quickly catch you. But I'm sure you all know what does proxies means 
Anyway, sooner or later Goggle will catch you again even with them as you will not be able to normally manage and gain authority from those other profiles. So, the 'likes' will be only considered as a count! And sooner or later algo of the Social Media channels will do exactly what Google does - devalues 'count' and glorifies authority!
