It's definitely possible for a page to be correctly flagged as duplicate content while a canonical tag is applied. This typically happens in cases where the pages are being seen as duplicates of each other, but are canonicalized to different pages.

Currently, Moz Local doesn't accommodate service area businesses because a number of our partners don't accept an address of that format. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we do need a full street address for the business in order to publish it.
In general, Crawl Tests usually take around 24 hours. Part of the length is related to our current load when the crawl is requested, so you could potentially see a bit of a wait associated with sites of only a few pages.
In this particular case, it's totally our fault. We had a crawler outage, but as you have probably come to realize, all of the crawls have been re-queued and are in the process of completing right now

At the moment, our public API is specifically related to our link index. So, you could potentially grab link, URL, top pages, anchor text, and/or spam score metrics. I hope this helps to clarify!
I'm afraid that we don't really have a way to display that kind of info right about now, since Google doesn't share all of their search volume data anymore. It would definitely be a cool feature if we had access to the data though! Perhaps someone else has a suggestion for where you could find some comparable info to what you're after

It looks like perhaps this could have to do with the server's responsiveness. I ran a cURL on http://everydaycorporatecars.com.au/, and the request timed-out (http://www.screencast.com/t/Joc9HyrT). Must be a Facebook local business page. An easy way to see if your page is a place/local business is to see if it has the following: About, Address, Hours, Contact and Reviews.
Make sure that your business’s name, address and phone number are listed exactly as you would like them to appear in your Moz Local listing
Ensure that the page is publicly accessible (Check with incognito browser to see if the page is available prior to logging into Facebook. Also, possibly give a screenshot of a functionally configured Facebook page’s privacy settings.)
Make sure to have at least 2 check-ins to verify the physical location of your business. Not sure what to do here? Head to Facebook's resources to see how to let people check in and how you can check in.
Must be a Google+ local business page. Look for the ‘Review Summary’ section on the page. Some other things to look for: Verified check mark next to the page image, Address, Hours and Reviews. Here's an example of what the page looks like.

Note that service-area businesses (SAB) without their full address listed will run into complications with Moz Local since not all of our partners support SAB's.
Must be a listed as a “verified local business". Remember that check mark we mentioned earlier? That's what you need!
As far as I know, our algorithm for keyword difficulty has not been changed in any serious way. However, we did just release a fresh link index update, and since the difficulty is calculated based on a number of different link metrics, the scores that you're seeing could conceivably be differing due to these link metrics having been recalculated.
I'm honestly not sure what KC is, so I can't really speak to that, but perhaps someone else can swoop in and cover me on that one

I'm sorry, but our current email system is only able to send all of the email notifications to a single email address. So, the best thing I could recommend would be to set up an email filter to automatically forward a portion of the emails to a separate address.
I popped over to Google AU, and created a profile for Australia using the MozBar to emulate national results. Here you can see that the current ranking as reported in the 'Analyze a Keyword' section aligns with the results in the Google SERP: http://www.screencast.com/t/9YA7otPL1
For Melbourne specifically, my results returned an 11 in the SERP and 12 within Moz: http://www.screencast.com/t/PN4rXC1xyw
So, the only thing I could recommend would be to check your browser settings to make sure that you're removing as much personalization as possible when checking your keywords.

This is likely coming from the fact that Open Site Explorer is aimed at collecting links that speak to your site's overall backlink health and diversity. So, if a link is located deeper within a site's structure, then we may not include it within our index, as we attempt to focus on the prominent pages of authoritative sites while indexing.
If you're interested in checking out a full backlink profile, then I would recommend supplementing OSE with another backlink checker like Majestic or Ahrefs, which focuses explicitly on link quantity
The discrepancy here is that Moz is querying Google in a process that completely strips personalization from the query, as Joe mentioned. This means that it's more representative of a national average for all searchers in the country, but it also means that you may not be able to reproduce these exact SERPs within your browser because your location is factored into your search results :).

It's a little tough for me to say what is causing the 902 error to be returned. When running a cURL from our crawler as of now, it looks like the site is returning a 200. So, I would guess that perhaps it was simply some sort of intermittent server issue at the particular time of the crawl. I would also recommend making sure that you're not utilizing SNI.
I would consider running a Crawl Test to see how the site is currently responding :). If you're continuing to run into issues, then it may be easier to give us a shout at help@moz.com. Thanks!

One thing to note is that our link index (including the Spam Score metric) is update on a roughly monthly basis. So, it can definitely take some time before your domain metrics are recalculated.
In general, the best advice for any link-related question is almost always to focus on cultivating healthy, relevant and authoritative backlinks to work on your site's backlink profile. Disavowing links can be a beneficial step, depending on the links, but it can also be dangerous to disavow all links to a domain.
If you're making positive changes on your site for the sake of your site and its content, then you'll see your Spam Score work its way down as a side-effect
Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to do this. It's certainly possible that one of our other community members would have some experience with this type of request, but I'm afraid that I don't have any wonderful insight to bestow :(.

When looking for the keywords that are being targeted for a given page or site, I'd recommend checking out the anchor text metrics in Open Site Explorer. This can help to give some insight into what keywords that site is interested in pursuing, but other than the On-Page Grader, we don't have a tool that is designed to pull keyword instances out of a particular URL.

While I'm not really able to give out the entire recipe for DA, it's my understanding that social signals are not a factor in this metric. Since social signals are not "link metrics", I think it's safe to say that they are not in the DA algorithm based on the blurb that was quoted above :).
