If you discount a subscription when the client links to you, does that classify as a paid link?
Hi Jonathan Although Google's guidelines don't explicitly mention "discounts" I do feel this would be considered a paid or manipulated link as the company is offering a monetary benefit in exchange for a link. Google's Guidelines state that any link that is paid must be disclosed in a machine readable format and nofollowed -Dan

WordPress & Page Numbers
Hi Marcin, Agreed, but the issue is that I need to be able to write a specific title and meta description in order to target the keywords that this page is designed to target, therefore the template approach in this instance does not provide me with the flexibility that I need. When I write a specific SEO title it overwrites the template system that you mentioned. More annoyingly I can't use the variables that you mentioned to write specific SEO titles, which I think is an oversight. So I'm a bit stuck and looking for ideas...

Best Link Building technique using SEOMoz tools & Open Site Explorer
Hi, thanks for the response, but exporting and then ploughing through Excel seems such a manual way of doing things. Rand and the team must have thought of the process when they designed these tools...I get the feeling I'm missing something. Link building is such a key part of what we do somebody in the SEOMoz community must have figured out a neat way of using the available tools?

Forum Guidance Required for Wordpress
All right, I will answer a couple of your questions (i'll just speak from my personal experience) #1 you can use a Wordpress plugin or theme to get a "jump start" on developing a forum. Here is a premium plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qa/screenshots/ that allows you to vote on questions (quora/sack over flow style). If you are looking for a good Wordpress theme, I would check out the theme from elegantthemes.com #2 Q&A definitely works for B2B. The benefit is that people who visit your website will add to your site's SEO! #3 To run parallel forum/blog posts at the same time, you have to offer an incentive for using the forum. I would suggest you watch this webinar about Gamification. At seomoz Q&A you get points for answering questions ( as long as you get thumbs up. lol) A lot of forums will give you a link... basically, people need some benefit from participating. #4 Make sure your Q&A forum is indexable and crawlable... Good luck! -Bryant.
