Difference Between www.domain.com and www.domain.com/ ?
My IT Director and I just had an interesting back and forth discussion about this. I'll spare you the witty repartee and take you straight to a post in the Google Webmaster's Central Blog: To Slash or Not to Slash? http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2010/04/to-slash-or-not-to-slash.html Quote: "If both slash and non-trailing-slash versions contain the same content and each returns 200, you can: Consider changing this behavior (more info below) to reduce duplicate content and improve crawl efficiency. Leave it as-is. Many sites have duplicate content. Our indexing process often handles this case for webmasters and users. While it’s not totally optimal behavior, it’s perfectly legitimate and a-okay. Rest assured that for your root URL specifically, http://example.com is equivalent to http://example.com/ and can’t be redirected even if you’re Chuck Norris." We particularly enjoyed Maile Ohye's reference to Chuck Norris. It's handy as a search term if you ever want to find her post again Hope this helps!

Http://www.domain.com/services/city or http://www.domain.com/city
I'd agree with everyone else on doing 'Services' in the Nav with cities dropping down. However, the URL thing is irrelevant to how you want to do your Nav. It sounds like you're thinking to do the Nav you have to do pages and sub pages -- not the case at all. It's 2013! Wordpress 3.0! Appearance >> Menus >> Build your menu however you'd like and drop in the pages as desired.

Same Content or New Content?
If the content you have is original and is bringing in quality organic traffic then keep it. If you want to make sure to avoid any duplicate content issues that could arise from this just make sure you correclty implement 301 redirects on any old URL's where the content used to live so you can inform Google that the new content lives at a new URL. You might find it useful to "refresh" the content while you move it over b/c recency/freshness of content also influences organic rankings.

How do you go about setting up the URL extension in WP, I know their is a way, it read it on a site, but hey did not tell you how? Any info, as always, is appreciated! Jimmy

Site to Check Code (HTML) and (CSS)
W3C Schools CSS Checker & Markup Validation Checker I use these religiously for every audit I perform. I run both on the home page, and at least one page from every other primary template on a site. I then run them both on at least one or two other highly visited pages that have questionable page speeds as well.

Does Sticky Post in WordPress Have Impact on SEO?
Sticky posts can help if they contain content that's relevant to the keywords you're targeting. It's just a way to keep content on your homepage in Wordpress, Google will still see the fresh content you are producing.

Responsive Website Without Losing SEO Benefits
I don't believe you'll lose any benefit by having a responsive site, as long as it still contains the same content/html markup. You may have trouble converting your current fixed-width site to a responsive layout though. Responsive layouts are accomplished through CSS media queries (different properties/values based on viewport size). If you're using a "template" it may be easier to just get a different one that's responsive and re-create it. I don't know jack about SiteBuilder, but there's loads of responsive templates out there for Joomla and Wordpress.

Is Seo Effected by Switching Hosting Services?
If done correctly, changing DNS for an existing site shouldn't result in any downtime, Charles. There will likely be a short period where some users will begin seeing the new site while others are still seeing the old site, the site will never appear "down". The length of time where visitors may see a mix of the old & new sites can be significantly reduced by setting short TTL times on the DNS settings before the actual final changeover takes place. Paul

Does http://my.dudamobile.com/ Effect SEO
I think you are asking if changing your site from www.domain.com to my.domain.com will have a negative affect on your SEO. If I understand this correctly, yes it will have a negative affect on your seo, how big the effect is depends on a lot of factors. Links to the subdomain of www.domain.com do not carry over to your mobile domain of m.domain.com. The answer to whether this is a good choice depends on how much of your traffic is mobile and how much is via the desktop. If 100% of your traffic is mobile, it most definitely is a good choice.

Hey Jimmy - it's been a while since you posted your question. Did you get the answers you needed or can you give us further clarification of what you're still wondering about? If you did get the answers you needed, could you mark as "Good Answer" whichever answers you found most helpful and mark the overall question as answered? This will help other users who may come across the question in the future. Thanks! Paul
