Regards,
As i am responsible for the page changes, i didnt do much really. Just some minor tweaks in the description page, some new content, my incoming links have been increasing slightly. But i see better results with the pages with titles with no dividers.
Maybe its a coincidence, i just thought maybe something was going on with the dividers. But it doesnt seem that way. Is there anything else i might be missing as why these pages rank better than other similar pages?
Great star trek example haha, thanks!
Negative, its a network solutions hosted page. With regular code.
I also changed the meta description tag in these pages. I did some general content maintenance, such as review the outgoing links, add some images, but nothing else.
My incoming links have been increasing since July, but ive seen better results with the pages with Title Tags with no dividers or only one divider. I need to dig deeper, as i researched that the title tag alone doesnt make much of a difference.
Hi everyone, i know that dividers in title or even title tag doesnt have much of an impact on better rankings. I had great rankings for many keywords, not using dividers or using only one divider. However for better reading comprehension and usability, and also aesthetics i started to use the pipe as my main divider and other secondary dividers. I saw many pages drop in rankings vs other less competent and with less content pages. My format was as follows:
Product Brand | Product description - Additional info or local info
ie. Fiber Glass MBI | Insulation Batts for Home and Commercial use - Acoustic and Thermal Insulation
I changed the format for a handful of pages, and saw immediate results on rankings and traffic on those pages.
Product Brand with Product Description - Additional Info
ie. Fiber Glass MBI Insulation Batts for Commercial use - Acoustic and Thermal Insulation.
Does it sound like something i should implement page wide. I personally like the aesthetics of the pipe as it gives a cleaner look, but the better rankings on the changed pages with using only one divider makes me think. Does it sound familiar, or its just a coincidence,

Hey everybody, how is it going?
I have a simple question, that i need answered.
I have a main domain, lets call it domain.com. Recently our company will launch a series of promotions for which we will use cname subdomains, i.e try.domain.com, or buy.domain.com. They will serve a commercial objective, nothing more.
What is the best way to block such domains from being indexed in Google, also from counting as a subdomain from the domain.com. Robots.txt, No-follow, etc?
Hope to hear from you,
Best Regards,
Tuzzell,
thanks for the response.
i am having trouble understanding how to implement landing pages within the main TLD. Should it be www.domain.com/landingpage1, or www.domain.com/landing/landingpage1, or subdomain landing.aceromart.com
what do you recommend,
Thanks!
I totally understand,
But i have a network solutions ecommerce platform, so trying to put a landing page in the platform with the desired forms and interaction is difficult. So thats why i inclined to Unbounce, and also because of the testing.
So should i use something like landing.domain.com?. I already use a subdomain for my blog. What is your recommendation,
Thanks in advance,
Hi everyone.
I recently subscribed to unbounce for their landing page services. I found them to be very easy to use and to monitor.
My main objective is to drive traffic and capture lead through the landing pages and PPC campaign. I want people to land on really targeted landing pages through PPC.
I am having doubts on which domain to use. My domain is aceromart.com, and also own aceromart.co, aceromart.info, as in its my brand. Can i use "aceromart.co" or other related domain for my landing pages for example: aceromart.co/landingpage1, aceromart.co/landingpage2, and so on. And then when they fill out the form, or offer, then redirect to aceromart.com
I dont want to use my domain as the design of the landing pages is totally different from my page.
What would you recommend, what is the best practice?
Regards!
A marketing firm set up my google + profile for my company a year ago. They no longer have the access to the account, and i need to either shut it down, or be able to access it and make some changes.
Does anyone know how to delete a google + business profile or gain access to it somehow.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
Hey everything, how is it going?
I am fully convinced of the importance of Social Media. I already witnessed the power of social with my facebook fan page. I am fully implementing facebook, twitter, youtube, and pinterest. I am starting to use Google +.
Is there any other social "must" for companies in order to include them on my social media profile? such as Linked In, Scribd, SlideShare. etc..
I forgot to mention we are specialized B2B Ecommerce company.
I am outsider to this question, sorry. But it got interesting. I want to know one would do this
"1.) This site does not have any redirects in place. There are essentially duplicates of ever page existing for the www and non-www versions respectively. This is a problem that should be addressed immediately"
Is there a best practice to this. I had a similar problem with www. and non www. Supposedly the technical person solved this issue.
Thanks for taking the time into answering these questions!
Regards!
Thanks for the answers! I will pitch that idea to the company!
Regards!
Hiya Senol,
Link building for ecommerce is hard, specially with B2B companies. **After generating the best content possible i would suggest you start your link earning or building campaign taking into mind the following resources. **
1. Link Building Strategies in PointBlankSEO, 2. Link Building Resources by Paddy Moogan, also enjoyed the Noob Link Building list.
I would start with some high quality directories such as (yahoo, business.com, BTOW, etc). Then some Press Releases such as PRWeb, and quality guest post. I would try to really look into the niche your company is serving and make some strong connections with the important people. Generate some tutorials, some DIY, some videos, with quality content is easier to gain backlinks.
Always aim for diversity in your link profile and also in your link anchor text. Try to make your brand as "out there" as possible. Sometimes its hard to gain authority and traffic in boring industries, but dont give up. Get creative, be proactive, and try to solve as many problems from your customer base as possible.

Thanks,
However, how should i do this?. I already have the ecommerce site on .com for about 5 years. Should i redirect this .com to a new one hosted and with a ccTLD? Have both?
Or redirect my ccTLD to my.com domain, or what is actionable strategy?
Thanks,
He meant that he should lower the links containing the anchor text "makeup artist sydney" to something more natural.
its important to have a natural and clean link profile, the same goes for anchor text. Google will frown upon and also take action with overly optimized anchor text.
Best regards!
did you use OSE for the anchor text report? or another tool? what is best way to obtain your anchor text diversity?
Thanks!!
Also, how is your anchor text profile for each keyword you dropped traffic or ranking? I found that unreal anchor texts with the addition of some spammy links can be really harmful with penguin updates. I used this anti penguin resource in conjunction with unique content creation, social signals, and are seeing some good results.
Best Regards, and best of luck!
You want to check only outbound links from your site right?
I personally use the MOZ toolbar and then highlight external and do-follow, or no-follow. **Another tool i use is HREF Links, and No Follow Eyes, all for Chrome or Firefox. **
