How do I get the SERP overlay tool to work?
I have the SEOMoz toolbar installed. In the settings I have a tick next to Display SERP Overlay. When I first activated this it showed up but with no data just continually searching for a long time. Now it is not showing up at all.
This is such a great tool, how can I get it working?
Thanks,
Daniel.

Is this an error in SEO Moz Pro Web App?
In the rankings section if I add these two terms to monitor They are both monitored:
Fresh fish
fresh fish
Do search engines give more weight to capitals on some small scale or is this an error in the app?
Thanks,
Daniel.

Where in SEOMoz pro can I determine how many .edu and .gov links a competitor's site has?
Like in the SEOBook toolbar where you can click the information button and get the number of links to the domain and specific page for .edu and .gov sites.
Thanks,
Daniel.

For the "On Page Report Card", Can I see a list of all of the recommendations?
On the "On Page Repord Card", in the "Page Analysis Detail" section, I can click "Read More" for each factor and see a "Recommendation" on how to fix the page to meet that factors criteria.
Are these recommendations the same everytime or will they vary depending on the page itself?
Can get a copy of each recommendation that would appear if none of the criteria were met?
Thanks,
Daniel.

RE: Google Places, Multiple locations best practice
Ok so more research shows that it is a good idea to have a google places page set up for each business location.
Still I would like to know if anybody with experience in the area can answer the following:
Should I use the home page as the landing page from each individual google places page or is it better to have a specific landing page for each one?

RE: Google Places, Multiple locations best practice

Google Places, Multiple locations best practice
What is the best practice with having multiple locations in Google Places.
Does having multiple Google Places set up for each business have a big effect on local rankings for the individual areas?
Should I use the home page for the website listed on each page or is it better to have a specific landing page for each Google Places listing?
Any other tips?
Thanks,
Daniel

RE: Is facebook and twitter always a good idea to promote a website and improve Google rankings?
I particularly like this idea, "For instance, why don't you use your Twitter account, spread the knowledge of it also offline to your real customers, and than use it really as a for real time communication about your products with them. E.G.: "I have just received a wonderful bluefin tuna. Want to know what do it with it (link to a recipe with bluefin tuna on your site)"." Thanks.

RE: Google Places verification
This is probably the advice I needed. I will make an effort to make clients a little more aware of the importance of this and to really keep an eye out for the postcard. Thanks Hansjorg.

Duplicate titles OK if page don't need to rank well?
I know It is not a good idea to have duplicate titles across a website on pages as Google does not like this. Is it ok to have duplicate titles on pages that aren't being optimised with SERP's in mind? or could this have a negative effect on the pages that are being optimised?

Is it possible to get good SEO results with small brochure websites?
Say I have a 5 page website with 300 words and 4 images on each page. No or little dynamic content. No blog. Is it still possible to get good SEO results in a site like this? what would be the best strategy? what challenges would I need to over come? or is it just too much of an up hill battle?

Do you spend much time on the phone when link building?
When it comes to link building for a client how important is it to get on the phone when chasing links from other sites? Would you say this done all the time, half the time, not at all?
Is this the SEO experts responsibility or the clients?
Update: Really hoping to get an idea of how important this is to acheive good SEO results. Any chance the SEOMoz employees have any answers here?
