Google+ for photographers
Best thing you can do to get P-interst over there is to join in. Too often we share our stuff, pin our stuff, and run away. Try this and try it honestly: Go to Pinterest and search for interesting things. Instead of pinning, leave comments on everything you think is unique, cool, fun, interesting, or beautiful. Leave genuine, 10 word+ comments and do this for about an 30-60 mins a day for two weeks straight. Follow more users and repin some of your favorite stuff onto a board called Inspiration from Others At the end of two weeks, if your own repins aren't up, try something else. lol But they will be - in which case: lather, rinse & repeat.

Not alt tags but Title and description Meta: My designer's answer.
I was speaking in terms of the pictures in your portfolio on your site not the blog, as I assumed those were the images you were talking about. Was I incorrect?

Does having a few URLs pointing to another url via 301 "create" duplicate content?
Loan, It seems like you're asking two different questions here: Do multiple 301's pointing to a single page create duplicate content--and Is it better to point 301's to your home page or a more relevant internal page. Is that right? The answer to the first question is no, you don't have to worry about duplicate content being caused by your 301 redirects. As far as the second question, it's usually best to point a 301 redirect to a page on a site that is the most relevant to the one being redirected. However, if the page you're thinking about redirecting isn't getting any search traffic and/or doesn't have any external links gong to it, your redirect won't really have an impact on your SEO

Blog links: Going out or staying in?
In this case not particularly. It is good practice to link out to other sites but only where it is relevant. My temptation would be to use these links to showcase work, particularly as you have some good blog content from these venues. Then within the blog articles send a link to the venue. After all that's where the pictures were taken and if the user likes what they see they may want to book it. Try to think in terms of the user and the journey they take through the website

Wordpress Socialize Plugin giving me 400+ 302s. Should I be concerned?
Hi Kane, I just had the same issue as Ioan Said with Twitter and Facebook social login buttons on each article. The content crawl showed that my website has 84 000 links which are 302 links. My concern is that I have only 53 000 links showing 200 response code. In this case I have a feeling that those 302 might harm my site. Total website links: 14 1000. Any Ideas how to deal with this?

Too many links in my blog post created by comments. Should I worry?
If it's just a matter of link count, I wouldn't worry about it. If the comments are clearly spammy, then I htink M.-J. is exactly right - you need to moderate and remove those comments. It is possible for a large number of spammy comments (with outbound links) to cause problems with a site. It's not just an SEO issue - it looks bad to legitimate visitors as well. If you can't moderate, nofollow would be the next best option (the only other option, really). If you've got 200 links on the page, though, and the comments are 95% legitimate, it's fine. It's just a popular post.

What is the best way to close my blog?
Re #2 it can be complicated. I refer to htaccess hacking as a black magic art of website building. But for straight 301 redirects, the code is fairly straightforward, in your .htaccess file it will be a line for every page that looks like so: redirect 301 http://www.myoldsite.com/page1.html http://www.mynewsite.com/page1.html This is the brute force method. You can also use regular expressions if there are patterns to the addresses, but then you're getting into the esoteric. Re #4 they will be instantly redirected.
