Try to rewrite them if its content that is attracting people on your site it may attract people from the search engines too....  Should be worth the effort

I think it should be one way or the other.... Especially if you want returning visitors they might not notice the first time but after a while people are bound to notice

We have 15 google places locations.  One of them on the switch over to google plus got nailed and 4 positive reviews were removed and no new reviews have been posted I have been on the phone with clients as they try to post the review + I have tried on personal accounts away from work...

Here is the place  You can try to post a review for yourself all other 15 locations work fine... I'm guessing google has a lock on it now i need to know how to get it lifted.

... this is a very hard situation both a freelancer and an agency can be a bad idea...

The Problem is:  If they are advertising link building they probably have multiple clients.  And your links are being put in the same places as 10 other peoples that turns into instant link spam...

Best bet Hire someone who only works for your site give him some good content to work with than let him build links with that just for you.  These will last longer and they are worth more...

I had some trouble setting mine up and it ended up being my links were set to private instead of public.

Make sure all your G+ is public  than list all the steps you have made I have successfully setup about 5 authorships now all work

I think if you have very thin content and the source code is the bulk of the content lets say 80% source code 20% unique google may not look favorably on that....  Google has algorithms that put cookie cutter sites in a lower position than custom sites so it is important to have your code somewhat unique.

But only have 2 of the sites the same probably is not "the" problem it mainly to penalize people who buy these money making sites for $500 that look the same as 200 other sites except for the content

Generally Yes... But starting off on the right foot would be to blog about helpful ideas in your niche or questions about your project that will go farther than just onpage seo

right no difference I took a whole site with statics and changed it over to a cms with all rewrites everything works great kept the urls the same though kept the .htm

It works the same as a static page except its easy to manage your content....

You usually also use a url re-write agent that can change your urls to say what ever you want.  In fact most of the web is now on a cms.

Backlinks, Anchor text is all the same....

There page is probably more targeted to the keyword

Pagerank is not really that important but if you want to get it make sure your indexed and try to get a good backlink from a pr5+ site

maybe push marketing campaigns that instill a trust factor (how they can trust you more then they competitors)

BBB maybe?  A friend of mine paid for the mcafee site protection and I guess it can instill confidence and also gets a really good backlink.

yeah about 80% of the links are followed but be careful you should use it for domain authority more than keyword targeting cause it can make your link profile suck quick .

Well prweb posts the same article to about 200 news sites exactly the same... so duplicate content is there no matter what but its still worth it for the links google understands that news gets distributed.

Prweb probably has something against posting the same article with another service though so i would suggest writing another pr release on the same topic just different.

something could have went wrong with your places listing make sure everything is right than search your term and click on the map for certain keyword and check and see what page you are on u might have just got bumped out of the top 7 if you find yourself in the first 2 pages just build citations to get yourself back up in top 7

I would 301 the domains to pages that match the keywords on the main domain then just continue 1 domain seo

You really should redirect every page to a page thats similar that way you dont lose any existing rankings
