Any links pointing to the not-ranking URL that might have a negative effect? Sometimes penalizations aren't manual but algorithmic, and the effect would be that a certain keyword doesn't get ranked.

RE: Is It Possible to Be Punished By Google For Getting Too Many Links?
We're in the middle of Google's May 2020 Core Update that still takes a few days to finish rolling out. Many pages have lost a percentage of overall traffic, there's a very high chance your drop might not be link related.
Here's a few theories based on initial research + feedback from other SEOs on the update:
- Google seems to prefer bigger brands
- Freshness seems to be more important
- Check your site's usability / design / loading speed / accessibility
Links are important but there's a huge amount of other things that can affect your rankings.

RE: Lazy Loading & Image SEO
I haven't yet seen issues with lazy loading, also you can always separately file them as an image sitemap, but I can't see how this should be related to ranking drops to be honest as long as Google can still read the same attributes under the same URL.

RE: My Website disappeared from Google Search Results overnight
I agree with Chris, focus on a smaller segment and get it ranking. At the same time, think of Google spending money processing your website, so whatever you have them processed, should be high quality, unique content, having the user in mind, and being well inter-linked within your site structure.
Content not being indexed is often a sign of poor site architecture or huge amounts of low-value content.

RE: Structured data / Rich snippets
Is your site ranking well already? The FAQ not showing up might be related to your site's overall authority / relevancy.

How old is the site?
-
Does it get page 1 rankings elsewhere?
-
Are other FAQs showing up?
-
Have you tried different searches or where do you expect your FAQ to show?

RE: Is It Possible to Be Punished By Google For Getting Too Many Links?
There's no established figure that would mean TOO MUCH, I'd aim for matching what could be natural based on the social signals Google might pick up about your site, and at what competitors of a similar size are getting in terms of backlinks.

RE: When block bots using robots.txt vs meta tag "no index"?
You might be able to first remove the /Login URL + variants from Google (+ noindex it) and once it is removed, add the Disallow so it doesn't get crawled so no crawl budget is wasted on the probably low-content-value login URL.
