Can Twitter really help your Google Rankings??
I'd highly recommend not using Twitter solely for higher rankings. Twitter helps you with brand management, customer service, community management, etc. If you're only using Twitter to try to game Google, you're probably going about it the wrong way. I'd focus on managing your Twitter account in a way that will benefit you as part of your overall marketing strategy.

LINK BUILDING - Does it really matter if the link is not relevant?
What about Charities? If I earn a link from a charity clearly it's not a relevant link. How are directories relevant? Cleary DMOZ, Business etc... don’t have anything to do with your website? What if an SEO blogger writes a article on a best industry website... say "tractors.com" this isn't a relevant link and is complete natural? What happens if a supplier links to your website... That does your CRM system? This isn't a relevant link? Secondly if your selling "Tractors" and get a link from a business blog or finance blog (with high DA) this isn't relevant, but people who read business/finance blog still buy "Trackers"? So doesn't that make them relevant? How you do determine what’s relevant and what’s not? It's very difficult to get relevant links high DA websites if you’re in a very specific niche. I've seen business with a net worth of 100 billion... but plenty of links that are high DA, but not complete relevant links? How can a business of this size possibly take these risks? Isn't it ok to get irrelevant links along as they are not paid links?

Article submission - where can you submit articles for FREE???
If you have a picture of the link profile you are trying to build (usually based on competitor analysis) then that helps guide you. However my one guiding principal has always been to try not to be overly reliant on too few tactics. That probably means I've missed out on some easy wins over the years. However it also means that I have sites that have been sitting at the top of their industry results for over a decade, never leaving page 1. Mix it up. Find something that works - then find something else. No reason why articles can't be part of that, but if you are producing that content anyway then why not put some aside for guest posting? If you are researching guest posting opportunities why not see what else those sites are looking for?

How the hell do you find good PR websites?
First, you will need to define relevant for you. As to easily located, you will need to define easily. Everyone wants link building that is easy or easy to locate sources for. To date if it were easy, many of us would not be paid. I would start with what you know about your business (I am assuming you have a few sites that you use and are not an agency). Who would be credible sources for you? Do you blog in that industry? Who does and can do you read them? Can you send out sample blogs or articles to them? Then, you know who your competitors are most likely. I would look at the higher ranked ones and use Open Site Explorer and see who is linking to them. Those will be likely targets. I would take a look at what that links to/from to get an idea of what the one providing the link wanted. If you are in a highly competitive area like travel, etc. then you will see links that are for Chinese gambling sexual ginseng and you can just ignore them. Look for relevant again. You will need to read a bit about link building, strategies for asking for links, reporting bad links, etc. Put it in the search bar top right of this page. Then, go reading. The most important part of SEOmoz is the large group of highly competent (no not me, the others) individuals who answer questions, ask questions back, clarify, re-answer, and nail it. They even point out if they see where you are wrong and admit when they miss the mark. An example of what to read is here in a post from Cyrus Shepherd on Conquering Link Directory Best Practices. There are tons of these type posts and resources. Are the tools any good? Again I point to the people who post and answer questions how many of them are pro or above members? They are either rich, easy, or they believe in the tools and the people on SEOmoz. But best yet is this, on Christmas Eve at about 230 pm CST I got a call from a potential client who with offices in Africa, South America, and the US who does a lot of business (I have been speaking with him for a couple of months). While I have Spanish speaking clients and English, I do not have anyone there or with experience in Africa. I told him the truth, if we can't help you there we will tell you. He said, oh, Africa's not that big of a problem...they all speak English and we have feet on the ground. Just the same, if I need help it is here on SEOmoz - but it won't be easy. (Yes, he is now a client). Read everything you can find on here. When you see someone reference a post or article with a link, go read that. Ask every question you can and don't be afraid to be wrong. If you are willing to work, you can get there. And, if you find an easy way to get some quality, high page rank, relevant links, Please, Please let us know. Best

Does anyone know where to publish news articles to help SEO???
If it is a press release, the most popular PR submission sites can be worthwhile. In the US, PRWeb is pretty good because news sites will see the story and republish the press release or write about it and link to your site. It helps a lot if your story is interesting. Another tip is to use a tool like Followerwonk to find journalists on Twitter in your area and then build a relationship with them. In the US we also have Help A Reporter Out http://www.helpareporter.com/ where you can list yourself or your CEO as a source so reporters can contact you if they have a specific question or need a quote from an expert in a specific area.

How to find high PR & Domain authority websites to build links?
Hi Wayne Thanks for the response - to be honest there about 15 websites all in different industries and sectors.. We want to find a reliable company (possibly India as we have heard they are cheap to outsource too) this is because mainly of the time it takes to outsource all of the link building... If you do know of any companies please can you let me know ? Thanks Gareth

What is the best way to find high domain authority
As with most things in SEO, it depends. High domain authority is only one of many metrics you should be using to determine which sites to target for link building. Quality websites operating in your niche/industry/vertical are the ones you should target first. Find these sites, and then if you want to prioritize them by highest DA to lowest, fine. Also look for sites that target the same keyword groups you do and sites that accept guest content, and stay away from sites that look spammy, scrape content from other sites, have more ads than anything else, etc. In other words, you need to take a more nuanced view of your link targets than just DA. A high DA site with tons of crummy links and scraped content is never better than a low DA site with tons of original content targeting the same audience you are trying to reach.
