As google says they honor next/prev signals there whould not be any problem with your pagination. Keep in mind that it could take some time to completely understand the new structure and start showing the correct results. For a 10k pages ecommercer, i'd say about  6-8 weeks.

Also, please make sure that those pagination tags are implemented correctly.

Hi there!

In my opinion, for SEO purposes it is correct to have a unique page (really different from other, not just changing the city name and location) por each big city you are optimizing.
Thus said, a subfolder is useful in order to show google the name of the city in the URL. It is common that google considers parameters different than folders.

Also, remember to avoid duplicate content. /dallas/ and /dallas/index.php should not be accesible and indexable for google. Redirect one to the other or canonicalize one to the other. Same with www, non-www, http and https versions.

To clarify: Why do they have exact same URL?

The problem here could be if both pages compete on the same search terms.
Keywords in the URL are pretty important, so it could be great to change one.

Recently there has been a case where a great piece of article was not indexed because it has a nearly exact title.

Remember, https and http versions are different sites for google, so serving some part as http and some other as https is incorrect and misleads googleBot.
Yes, you should have only one version. Either all in http or https, NOT BOTH!

Simple? no migration is simple. Talk to your dev team or hire one to do it properly.
And ofcourse, after everything is done, verify the new HTTPs version in Search Console.

The answer to your question is that you should check updates in any Moz metric **after **its index is updated. It is updated about once every month.
And of course that Moz has algorithms for considering and evaluating those domains/links anlayzed.

Keep in mind that DA/PA or any other metric outthere does not tell the quality of any site. its just an approximation of what that tool understands about google algorithms.

Yeap, those implementations are correct.

in order to avoid duplicate content between different language/countries websites, in each page that is present on each site, there should be their corresponding hreflang tag.

In your case:
And for a sample page: https://www.smarttechMKT.com/es-ES/gastonriera-espanol

NOTE, in the case that site.com and site.com/en-us/ are exactly the same then there should not be 2 sites. Just the one without the folder and hreflang tag with en-US should point to that

Watch out your question, there is a site there. If its your clients, edit it.

Canonical and hreflang seems OK. 
Blocking other languages/countries is wrong. There you are allowing google to see ONLY the us version.

Hi there!

There are 3 things to say here:

1. Hreflangs only apply when different pages/domains are copies/translations and carry the same user intent
2. Google understands correctly ccTLD domains, making less necessary to use hreflang
3. Hreflang tag with just self-referential is worthless. Because of 1. and because it need the tag corresponding to the translation page.
   In this case, if you are apllying hreflang to 3 pages, there should be 3 tags.

Hi Mike,

Two things to say here:

1. It´s possible that those sites do not have any problem. Decreasing PA/DA may be because the ones that has the maximum PA/DA got better. As they can´t go higher than 100, makes the lower one decrease.
2. Its possible that Mozscape didn´t find any of those links that were pointing to you before therefore decreases that metrics. Also any or many of the links already got may have gone spammy or tagged as a bad link by Mozscape algorithm

No, there is no harm in having an autoreferrential canonical tag.
In my experience, that tag is set as a reminder and/or to be used when tracking or other parameters are used with that page.

I dont remember having read any experiment and/or done experiment where having an autorreferential canonical tag carries benefits.

In my opinon, without knowing the whole site and/or those product pages where that text will be inserted, the answer is HELL NO!.
Of course there are many scenaries where it could be benefitial in SEO and/or UX and/or editiorial purposes.

Yes, pages with poor user experience do affect SEO, even more if those pages receive traffic from google.
So there are two scenaries here, regarding whether they receive traffic:

1. They do receive traffic, either move to other CMS (like wordpress and woocommerce) or improve those pages experience.
2. Do not receive traffic, leave them as is.

Alls this is considering that you are not able to change Robots.txt and do not want to move to other CMS.
Adding nofollow links will not make any difference, because Google does honor the robot.txt, so pages blocked there will not be crawled never. So as to remove them fron index is crucial beind allowed in robots(or what's the sabe, not being disallowed)

Hi there!

Im not sure wherer your problem is that a few URLs have 100s redirects or that you have 100s URLs with some redirect chains. Whatever the case keep in mind that Google understands well up to 4-5 hops. 
You might/might not need the services from a SEO expert/agency, as long as you have recognized those chains, work with your dev team to reduce the amount of redirections.

One hint: Go one chain at a time, find all the URLs in that chain and analyze each of them. Look for inbound links to that URLs, traffic or any important aspect that if if you remove that URL/redirect might hurt your website.
Other hint: Do not remove that URL and let it be 404. Try shorten the chain and the extracted URLs point them to other page, of course be sure that they are related and it helps users.

Can too many redirects from a single URL have a negative effect on crawling? Is there a limit to how many 301 (Permanent) redirects I can do on a site?

If there isnt any video shown in the results, its very likely that Google understands that people does not look for videos results by that query.
There is a great opportunity as you say ranking videos, but not in that search query. If you dont mind, I'd like to recommend you to try SEMrush and its keyword tracker, they show the rich snippets for any selected keyword. It's very usefull to kickstart a research from there, it may help to find other paths for finding video rich results.

Yeah, keyword research takes time. Finding the gap where to put all your effort is difficult, always be sure and try to confirm that you are targetting the correct set of search terms with other tools and/or other proffesionals.

From the tools that I know, use and/or used, what you are looking for is what SEMrush offers, its backlinks crawler is not the best, but can be hugely improved by adding a Majestic account.
Before you decide for SEMrush, be sure to watch all their videos and tutorials, its a really complete suite and it may help you in other projects. Take a look here: Kwnoledge Base - SEMrush

For backlinks discovery, the top 3 tools are ( IMO, in this order): ahrefs, majestic, Moz OpenSite Explorer.
