Landing Pages are Constantly Fluctuating in Rankings - Is There a Reason Why?
Definitely get some quality links to that page, and make sure that your content is helpful, unique and engaging. Try not to make so many changes so fast. Give your page time to even out after make changes. If you do too much to fast it will be hard to pinpoint what is working and what isn't. Start with the content, then the meta data, then the links. Sharing the page through social will help too.

Best way for getting rid of dubious backlinks
You can try to contact the website owner to see if they will remove those links. However, spam websites will never do so. What you can do is disavow the links, not just the domain. Finding the exact links you're listed on and disavowing those is the proper way to clear those links. Also, using Google Webmaster tools is a great way to find out if you have been penalized for something in regards to your website.

Our WordPress Blog and Duplicate Pages
Hi, As everyone had mentioned, I would also suggest using Yoast. With this plugin, you can simply go to SEO >>> Tags & Metas >>> Click on either Post Types / Taxonomies / Others and check the box to noindex/nofollow tags, pages and etc. By doing so, it will help you avoid having duplicate content in a lot of ways. Another way to avoid duplicate content is go to Appearance >>> Editor >>> Go to both Category and Tag php and search for the_content and change it to the_excerpt. This will make all the articles in your category into excerpts instead of showing the whole article. This might be a little advance so be careful when editing the code as it can mess up your whole website. Now as for recommendations, I would suggest the following: Remove the meta widget on the right Remove the Menu widget on the right and add it to the top navigation. As it will help visitors navigating the website. I would optimize the title tag. I would include primary and secondary keywords in the title tag. I would also use descriptive text for the image alt

Enable Display Advertiser Support in Google Analytics... any issues?
We switched to using it right after it came out, and we haven't had any issues. The only thing I can think of is possibly some users could have an ad blocker that blocks all requests from doubleclick.net, but doesn't block requests from google-analytics.com? Those people would be lost. If you're going to use your GA goals and events for remarketing segments you don't currently have set up, I think you'll see a nice return on switching, even if you lose tracking for a rare person here and there.

Sudden Unexplained Drop Should I Disavow
Thank you, Mike. We did see some shuffling with the competition as well. I will hold off on the disavow and instead stick to freshening content and seeking back links.

Does this robots.txt file look right?
Thanks for the backup, Cyrus! Totally agree w/ you on the preference for using blank Disallow - as I mentioned about it being more standards-complaint. Paul

It looks like there are several title tags on my homepage. This was done presumably to embed titles for pop up windows. This is causing an error report in DMOZ. Do the engines also veiw this negatively?
Paul, Thank you for the help. You have confirmed everything I was thinking.
