Anybody having success with Cross-Domain canonical?
Thanks Doc! Always good to be reminded that google often changes their mind on how they handle these things. I think I am going to try it. If things don't work or if things change I can yank it off of the secondary site.

Using rel="author" on product descriptions
Tried and tested. If your authoring original content your not abusing the tag. If your authoring the content using a well put together Google plus profile the benefits are much like authoring an article. Wonderful. I'm yet to see if the subject mater of this article will also effect internal linking.

Is Anybody Outside of SEO Industry Getting ROI from Google+ ?? Tell the truth!
I had started using Google+ for one simple reason, to save from using the pinging services I had at the time and get quicker crawls of new content. (The necessity of the pings I am not sure of but to post on G+ and see the bot within moments I have no doubt about it.) Now, I am thinking about getting more involved as the Google+ hangouts can be live cast on YouTube and then stay available. You can use your comments section as a user chat and build a nice set of relevant keywords around your video and your link to site. We are doing some testing on it now. I have 9300 followers on twitter, a couple thousand on FB and 24 on G+. I have made my best contacts from social media out of the 24.

Here is the Most Important Q&A Page
Thanks Keri & Miranda, Great to see some of these user enhancements are in the pipeline I was like Ben & found the "questions I've asked" & "questions I've answered" right at the beginning of my Q&A adventure. I'm now feeling really bad for EGOL & Alan having spent all that time doing so much Q&A the hard way Really wish I had mentioned it somewhere in an answer! Sha

New Search Engine.... Vanoogle.com
I wonder how much money Google make per user of their search engine. Would you pay for vanoogle.com? Say, US$20 a year? $50? $100? TV channels without commercials isn't so strange a concept - here in the UK we have the BBC! Though we have to pay a yearly license. Partly as a result of the lack of adverts, I watch more television on the BBC than all other channels combined. The quality is often higher too. The TV license converts to about US$240.

Big Link Network Taken Down
Does anyone have a list of websites that BMR was sending articles too? We have a Outsource SEO company that i think is using some kind of automated link building software. Im afraid the links they have built have been seen as spam and has caused our rankings to drop. I just want to make sure they werent using BMR and we are being penalized for it

Yellow Ratings Stars in the Google SERPs
Hi Remus, I know you guys have closed this question a while ago, but I really hope you can help me out with this. Our company is called theprintspace (www.theprintspace.co.uk) and we provide pro printing services for photographers (photographers comes to us with their images on a disc/order online and we print them out on professional photographic and fine art papers). We are technically more of a service. I really want to list us on the Product Search because I want the seller rating extensions - however it seems this is more tailored to products, and not services. Do you have any advice how I could do this, and if not through Product Search is there any other way to get the Seller Ratings Extensions?? Many thanks in advance!

Are you getting any action from Google +1 ?
I am not seeing any measurable results from Google + In my opinion a Google + button is a waste of page real estate - at least for the topics that my sites are about.

Do you use Google Checkout?
Just a quick heads up that you're no longer going to get the "visual benefit" if you're running checkout with adwords. they discontinued this June 2 https://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=1323905 an ecommerce client of mine was seeing great benefit with this in conjunction with his PPC. He saw a temporary drop after they stopped displaying the checkout, but it has since rebounded.

Rel="author" - This could be KickAss!
I own a company and usually write my own blogs but not every time. The times I don't I pay to have them written and thus own the copy. Can an author be a company and the link point to the company about us page?

Matt Cutts on Article Marketing
True. And it IS fun watching the 90% out there with their fishing gear, their custom fishing trawlers, all set to catch fish, then throwing nets into the water where the holes in those nets are bigger than almost all the fish in the ocean

SEO sites were blasted by Panda
Interesting thread. So now after the more recent Panda update, is that another dip I see in those same graphs There's gotta be something with wrong with the data. Most of the data I've seen from Google Trends and Compete is laughable. So any further updates? How has Panda affected SEO websites? And why? Is it all the incestuous linking? Thinking out loud here... is it possible that Google has some way to benchmark what the mean/median/average links there are per industry and THEN it uses those to figure out what a websites link count is worth? (Know what I mean?) eg. SEO industry mean = 300 real links, so above 300 higher authority, but dentist websites mean = 60 real links, so different way to measure authority? Point is, links and their worth could also be classified and measured by industry.

Land Rush for an entirely new suite of keywords ;-)
Interesting idea. Thanks for sharing it! Did you register RobotInjuryLawyers? That sounds like a really good one! Language and products are changing all of the time. There is probably still a lot of money to be made in domains.
