Duplicate content on the one domain (related to country targetting)
Hi - We have a client who has a TLD that they wish to target several markets using
- .com/au
- .com/us
- .com/sg
Each will use duplicate content with slight variations to cater for the local market (spelling, industry jargon). They seem reluctant to register a TLD for each target market (which was our suggestion) and I am wondering what SEO penalties would apply for having a majority of duplicate content on the same domain – perhaps using subdomains would be better? Thanks!

RE: Has anyone else has their Google Places account suspended?
Thanks for taking the time to respond. 10 days ago Adwords sent us an email confirming the review had taken place and the account was now active (but 10 days later we are still suspended in our dashboard). We are now in the process of setting up new accounts....

RE: Has anyone else has their Google Places account suspended?
I suggest adhering to the Google Places guidleines very carefullyWe have many listings for several clients which are now all suspended due to one listing not adhering (the place name did not relect the business name registered). Hope this helps.

Has anyone else has their Google Places account suspended?
This happened quite a few weeks ago and the review is taking 'several weeks' as promised by Google. Meanwhile our clients places listings are plummeting. Has anyone also has this experience and can they indicate how long it took for Google to review? Any other solutions gratefully received.

Is it good/bad to place a press release on a third party website as well as your own?
I have read that if a Company issues a press release via a third part service (e.g. PR Web) it is best not to place the release on the company’s own website due to negative SEO effects. Is this the case? I‘d really appreciate others thoughts on this.

Where should a knowledge base be hosted for max. SEO benefit?
A client would like to set up a knowledge base to work in conjunction with their website and we are tossing up whether to go with a hosted solution (and therefore set up as a subdomain) or find a solution that we host on the clients domain (which will presumably have more SEO benefit). We are leaning towards the latter (although are mindful that we need to balance the client’s desire for a quality KB solution). Appreciate your feedback.
