Unable to add website in moz.
Hi there! It looks like perhaps this could have to do with the server's responsiveness. I ran a cURL on http://everydaycorporatecars.com.au/, and the request timed-out (http://www.screencast.com/t/Joc9HyrT). So, I would consider taking a look at the server settings for the site, and feel free to write in to help@moz.com if you're still running into issues!

Google Don't allow to publish duplicate content for other website?
I just answered this question where you asked it on another thread. In brief, sharing content does not mean copying and pasting the content, it means sharing a link or otherwise telling people about the source of the content.

What is the process of link earning to avoid link building?
Thanks Keri and sorry for not getting back sooner Akhilesh. Keri is right that I am in the UK. As Keri has said, you really need to read the section on link building and content - If you get this wrong, you can cause yourself some big problems. Have a read of this so that you are sure what you need to be doing... http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo/growing-popularity-and-links -Andy

Can anyone explain some below SEO questions ?
Hi Akhilesh, Can you provide some context to your questions? They are a little surprising, since in several other Q&A questions you've gone and offered your services to other people asking for service providers stating that you have a talented pool of SEO experts.

What is parasite hosting?
Parasite hosting is when someone places a webpage on a domain that is not theirs and intends to rank it organically. You might want to do this if you want to ensure that anyone searching for your brand, for example, reaches a page that you own or created. For example, you might want to rank a Yelp page, Facebook page or others to control your brand results. Conversely, others may want to rank for keyword terms by creating a page on a website with a high authority (let's say domain authority), as the page they create will inherit some of the trust and strength of the root domain. Some people rank those pages in a white hat way, others may choose to aggressively link to those pages - as they don't have to worry about their own site being penalised for it. You can see there where it becomes a gray area for SEO. The most extreme example would be people in very spammy health niches, eg viagra, compromising a site and creating a new page to sell their products or promote their shop for a quick rankings boost. This is just outright black hat SEO and illegal, as it involves hacking into a site to create a page. So you can see there are different degrees of parasite hosting, each with different levels of ethics. Hope this helps.

Read article and share your views
Hi Akhilesh, Link velocity is determined by hopefully real natural factors. For instance, your client and you discuss a way to get some attention brought to whatever their product or services. Let us say you put out a press release and because that product is unique enough or interesting enough therefore it will be picked up by a lot of bloggers and legitimate media outlets including sometimes national news stations. I have a client who currently gains 60 links a day on average naturally he went from gaining maybe two a day to a natural 1000 today when it hit Fox news, NBC ABC etc. we got lucky to an extent but we knew the negative link velocity was going to occur it was not like this was in a be a surprise. So I can tell you that Google does view things that are not manipulative to their rankings as legitimate therefore will not come after you. To imagine a peek like that for a week and then a consistently higher daily link intake than you had before that is great but it did not affect the rankings negatively when it came down but what was really doing was just settling it had no idea that there was going to be a slowdown to that degree until it occurred. At the end of the day I am still extremely happy of what we did we got the website a lot more domain authority and domain trust long with a lot more traffic we have quadrupled base traffic in one quarter. The use a lot of techniques because you have to use Google plus, twitter, linked in whatever will get you attention and it has to be high quality or people will not stick around. I know people use that word a lot but it really has to be a lot of work done. I have put a lot of time and wrist a lot of my own money proving that press releases are completely legitimate method when used correctly not when you are just throwing stuff out there hoping some is going to catch it and then write it. I recommend actually putting in the time and the money with a real quality public relations agency I also recommend using Wistia in order to have your clients make a once a week the video similar to white board Friday's however make it relevant to their industry. You know they talk about it I got to speak to Chris at search love and they grew their business by speaking about relevant topics in their industry and getting ranked that way through videos pointing back to their site. That is amazing because the cost is not high it has white hat it is great for content and the end-user it should be implemented immediately. You should also transcribe them this will create content for you that is natural and one-of-a-kind. Videos have the schema in them if there using the super or Seo embed on Wistia in addition to helping your site rank they keep people on your site longer and if you allow them to have the embed code (the I-frame embed code) and the video is good enough it will be shared people will simply put it on their website and it will point links back to your website. You can do this with other video providers I believe there is a tool on distilled if you look up "Phil Nottingham distilled back link video tool" you will find it. Keep in mind though all the stuff that you need is already in Wistia if you can give those PR releases out with your video you will get a lot of links. I hope that answers some of the questions here are some links on link velocity and other methods being used that are okay with Matt Cutts by the way PRWeb and PRNewswire our extremely well known however PR serve is a new PR agency that promises not to charge you unless you make money. Following moz guideliness complety, will it certainly improve keyword rankings, domain authority
A1. Repeating keywords on a page has diminishing returns; however, if you aren't using the keyword you can't expect to rank for it. In some cases one exact match keyword may be enough if you are using synonyms throughout the content. The number of times you should use a keyword also depends on how long the copy of hte page is - the longer the page the more keywords you can incorporate without it sounding unnatural. I always try and use a keyword in the first sentence of a page, and the last sentence of a page. If you can naturally fit it into the content a few more times it will not hurt you. I'm assuming SEOmoz grading is based on correlation studies. They must have seen 4 keyword mentions correlates with higher rankings. Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHYA5gAsRBA A2. Stick to one H1 tag. I like to think of it in a couple ways: The H1 tag may not even be a ranking signal, but rather that H1 tags are traditionally used at the top of a page. Is the H1 tag the ranking signal or simply mentioning the keyword at the top of a page the ranking signal? Having more than 1 H1 tag is unnecessary and may just send a red flag to Google that your are over optimising. If the H1 tag IS a viable ranking signal, then the more you use it on a page the less effective it may be. If I have a paragraph and I bold every other word and ask someone to pick out the most important word it is going to be very difficult. If I have a paragraph and only bold one word and ask someone to pick out the most important word it is very easy. A3. Not really sure what you are referring to, but SEOmoz does have its own software to crawl your site and gather the information presented in your Moz campaign. Additionally, the information in OpenSiteExplorer is their own. A4. Rankings and traffic are never, and should never be, guaranteed in SEO. However, if you are paying attention to these elements and optimizing properly I'm sure you will see some results.

Difference between root domain and sub-domain linking?
Hi Dotline, There might be a glitch in the metrics you're looking at. For whatever reason, I'm seeing your numbers light up across the board in Open Site Explorer for all metrics on the subdomain. Check it out. http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/comparisons?site=www.dotline.com.au%2F Here's what I think happened. Sometimes OSE will drop the "www" from a domain, especially when you click through from the toolbar. Since the "www" is the subdomain, dropping it could return 0's for the subdomain metrics. (does that make sense? technically www.dotline.com and dotline.com are 2 different subdomains. Here's a post by Rand that explains it better: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/understanding-root-domains-subdomains-vs-subfolders-microsites) Regardless, it looks like everything is good now. Let us know if you have any trouble. Best of luck with your SEO!

Duplicate Page Title and Duplicate page content ??
Hi DotlineSeo, One possible solution to this issue could be the one Fredrik has pointed out. An other solution is to tell search engines which URL are you targeting by adding a rel="canonical" to the header of the index page. This way the one without the / will be targeted. I hope that helped, Istvan
