Drupal's Yoast
Just wanted to post this here for anyone else who views this question - a tool that claims to be very similar to Yoast for Wordpress. http://getlevelten.com/products/oe/search-engine-optimization I haven't looked into it any further at this point so can't offer an opinion.

Keyword Difficulty Popup
Thanks Sean and Ryan for chiming in. Appreciate the validation. And yes, I was typing in the nav bar. I saw the button in both places - to the right and below the nav bar.

Exclude status codes in Screaming Frog
Thanks for your help. It literally was just the fact that it had to be done before the crawl began and could not be changed during the crawl. Hopefully this is changed because sometimes during a crawl you find things you want to exclude that you may have not known of their existence before hand.

Same article published to 3 different client owned sites
Truth be told, I'm not sure. Google says they reserve the right to not follow a rel=canonical, but that being said, I don't know why they wouldn't in this case. I think the attribution is probably much less important just because it could come in so many different forms (link at the top of the post, link at the bottom, worded one way or another, etc), which becomes different to track and account for on the search engine side.

Does anyone have experience with ecinity.com as a vehicle for populating local search directories? If yes, how would you rank it as a competitor to Localeze and UBL?
You're welcome, Donna. Sorry not to have more direct advice. A couple of things I noticed about ecinity that didn't thrill me right off the bat was the fact that it seems to be still in Beta, it's asking for my email for me to see what the tool does and the About page is really unspecific. To be fair, looks like they are just getting started and they could turn out to be a super service in future, but if they are already marketing the business and attempting to engage business owners like you, the welcome I'm receiving hitting the site isn't making me immediately comfortable. Again, I know nothing negative about the company whatsoever, and this could turn out to be great, but for now, I don't feel instant confidence. I'm sure they'll improve in the future when they are out of Beta. Have a good weekend! Miriam
