After putting myself in the user's shoes, I would imagine that I would want to go to the Distrubutor Specific landing page. That's what I figured but I'm in the process of trying to get some quality links to my core domain and I am struggling. These are solid links but oh well...i'll just send them to the new landing page. Thanks!

RE: Link Building Strategy - Which landing page should I use?

RE: My organic search results are great, but not my ranking. Why?
Thanks again. I am not eager to push any single product at this point. We are planning on building some strategic landing pages over the next few months and I will create some links to those once they are created.

RE: My organic search results are great, but not my ranking. Why?
We have hundreds of individual product pages and within the next 6 months that number will jump to a little over 2,000. Are you suggesting that I attempt to get some links to the individual product pages?

Which method should I use for my URL structure?
I have an existing site that is currently utilizing a structure that is like this:
http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland-PRODUCT-NAME
Should I restructure it like:
http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland/Product-Name
We are doing very well with very specific searches already but are sometimes coming in 2nd and 3rd place. For example: If I search for CLEVELAND PRODUCT NAME I always come up in the top three and about 60% of the time I am #1. I want to make it better. We have only launched in 4 states but plan on launching an additional 4 states over the next few weeks and I want to make sure we are building things properly.
Any feedback would be wonderful. As usual, thanks everyone!!

RE: Will this domain name provide results?
Can I really get dinged for duplicate content on two completely separate domains? I will do my best to create distinction.

RE: Will this domain name provide results?
Thanks Aaron & Lewis!
This site will be a standalone site that will offer this one product. We have also structured our core company site just as you both mentioned. Because this is such a huge product I thought it would be good to have a separate site for it. I'll be pushing it from two sites. It sounds like i'm headed in the right direction. Thanks again!

Will my site structure provide decent SEO?
We have an ASP.NET MVC website with a view that can dynamically display each product we offer. The product name is hyphenated in the URL, and this is what we’re using to pull the product from the database. So an example URL would be: http://www.mysite.com/Products/Florida/Sample-Product-Name
We have another view that dynamically lists the products offered for each state. This page would contain links to the URL for each product offered in that state. The URL for Florida would be: http://www.mysite.com/Products/Florida
We want to make sure that when we enter a new product into the database, the product is indexed by Google the next time our site is crawled. I know that Google will crawl through the links in our website, so the new product should get indexed as long as we have a link to it. In this case, the link will be on the view that lists the products for the corresponding state.
I have 2 questions:
1) Is my understanding correct that Google will index the product page as long as it can find a link to it somewhere in my site?
3) To get Google to index each URL for content that is generated dynamically from a database, is having links in my site for each URL the only way to do it? Is there something we can do with the site map?
Thanks in advance everyone!

RE: Will my sub-domains pass any SEO credit to my top-level domain?
I have the ability to place our own applications for our agency in unique folders but the links I will be distributing to other agencies are specific to each agency. They are links that are auto-generated by our web application that has the agency's identifying information embedded in it so that the agency gets their proper commission.
This conversation has been good though because I was going to build a bond application library into the site with a link to each specific application. I will now restructure the site so that the link provided will lead to a well named sub-folder that has the actual application framed into the page. I should probably also make sure that I don't just frame in an external application ONLY. I should probably place content on each page alongside the application that is relevant to the type of bond they are applying for. Would everyone agree?

Does this help clarify? I hope I'm being clear.

RE: Will hyphens in my domain name have a negative impact on my SEO?
Alex,
I watched that Webinar and it was REALLY informative. I have a full page of notes and to-do's now that I think will help us really build our brand. Thanks for the suggestion!
