No probs! Thanks for the kind words about my post. Not sure if you're aware or not - but Wistia have just launched a free package, which will be totally awesome if you're just optimising a small site with a couple of videos http://wistia.com/blog/free-plan/

SIte wide links by google display / adsense
Possibly, but if you were hit by Penguin, those links might be doing you more harm than good right now. If I had a chance in this situation to remove over-optimized, site-wide links, I would. And you nailed the conundrum of Penguin on the head

Image optimization
The best solution is to be consistent and keep it in context, don't start stuffing title and alt attributes with brand terms as you need to realise the real reason for alt and title tags for accessibility. Use alt text to describe the image, you can insert keywords but don't overdo it. Another good option is to name the images with keywords as long as it is relevant. For example if your image is a size 10 blue shoe then name it in the format: size-10-blue-shoe.jpg This will help when it comes to universal results, the amount of times I've seen my images list in search and actually got traffic through it.

How To SEO Mobile Pages?
YES. SEO value transfers no matter what device you are using to access the site. The only limit to mobile is that the user experience is slightly different. The SERP's are the same no matter whether you are searching from mobile device, laptop, desktop or the space shuttle. All the same. Make it happen.

Suggested crawl rate in google webmaster tools?
Hi David, According to Google's webmasters help page, it states that the crawl rate option is just about how fast it crawls your site and not how often it does. Check out the link for more information about it. Also, I wouldn't stress to much on the settings because the search engines are going to do what they do, just make sure to create good content and get it out there, the search engines will see this and depending on how well it is they we come more often on there own. Hope this helps! http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=48620

Hi Moz peeps, google said that we should have two site maps...
David I think what you are referring to is HTML sitemaps vs XML Sitemaps and the inclusion of both. Google prefers XML and people use HTML : From GWMT - Sitemaps are a way to tell Google about pages on your site we might not otherwise discover. In its simplest terms, a XML Sitemap—usually called Sitemap, with a capital S—is a list of the pages on your website. Creating and submitting a Sitemap helps make sure that Google knows about all the pages on your site, Including URLs that may not be discoverable by Google's normal crawling process. I agree with the others, that an HTML sitemap can be helpful to visitors. For indexing, we use XML. Best

First of all David you have to check the content that you had copied. It has been checked through various duplicate content checker tool & see the result.
