Hi Jessie,
Thanks for your response.
The client is www.office1web.ie/
I have cleared my cache and have been searching incognito but no change.
It should be searched on the .ie engine so try this link to see what I mean.

Rob

Hey guys,
I'm doing a bit of detective work and I'm trying to understand why my client is ranking no.3 for the keyword "office desks" on google.ie.
The strange thing about this is that 'office desks' is not in the
1. title tag
2. url
3. h1 tag
4. anchor text of the internal links
5. anchor text of the external links
'Office furniture' however is the optimised keyword here however this appearing no. 35 in SERPs for the same url.
Any ideas what this might be?
Regards
Rob
Hi All,
I have identified 2 main keywords that I want a website to be found for
1: Alarm Systems
2: Security Systems
I have two relevant landing pages set up and optimised for these terms and I have also optimised the home page for these terms
I have countless other pages on the website that I don't really need to optimise such as Distributor Benefits or Supplier Benefits, About Us etc
My question is should I use my selected keywords (alarm systems, security systems) in the Meta Title on these non important pages or should I just use them on the selected landing pages and home page?
Historically I have used my primary keywords on all non important pages but not sure if Google looks down on this now.
Thanks
Robbie
Hey guys,
I was hoping somebody might be help with my current dilema. We have a international website due to go live soon which has changed its brand name.
It is International educational website funded by the government is all I can tell you I'm afraid.
They have over 40,000 inbound links many of which are images. I'm wondering what i site best approach. To contact the web master of the top PR sites and ask them to change the listing to the new brand? I was also thinking if I was to leave most of them there as they would be redirected anyhow. Could I be clever and add the new brand link to some of these sites without removing the old and reap the benefits of having two links, the old site url and the new site url?
Here is the main dilema though, the commission wish to keep the old site live for 6 months before we can redirect.
Thanks,
Rob
Hey guys,
I was hoping somebody might be help with my current dilema.
We have a international website due to go live soon which has changed its brand name.
The organisation whom we are working for want to leave the old site live for around 6 months after the new site goes live. The reason for keeping the site live is for users to be able to access many of the resources which will not be transferred over in time for when the new site goes live. The plan is to have a message on old site letting visitors know we have moved site. I'm concerned about this approach in terms of loosing some of the domain authority if the sites bounce rate starts increase due to people clicking over to the new site. Then in 6 months time when we finally redirect to the new site we might loose out on some of the domain authority. Is this something to be concerned about? The site currently has PR of 7 and Domain Authority score of 70.Cheers,Rob
Hi Cyril,
Thank you for your reply!
If I was able to purchase a French IP address with my hotsting provider for the french version of the website would that help increase its rankings or should what you have suggested be enough?
cheers,
Rob
Hey guys,
I was hoping somebody might be able to help me?
If I create a French sub directory of a website example "brandname.eu/fr" and submit this in webmaster tools to target France will the French version of the website appear in the search results?
What other factors are necessary for this to work?
Note: The website ideally will not be hosted in France.
Cheers
Rob
Hi there one of my old pages on my site is currently ranking for a phrases that I want to rank for on a new page I created.
My old page from 1 year ago is ranking for 'Property Management Training' (it's a blog post dating 2011) I have cretaed a new main Page on my site and would like to rank for 'Property Management' as it's more relevant.
What is the best suggestion to keep my ranking but have people go to my new page?
301 redirect old page to new page?
Thanks,

Hey guys,
I'm looking to sync our clients google analytic profiles to our clients campaigns in SEO MOZ. However all our clients google analytic profiles are on the one google account and not separate accounts.
So I'm asking does SEO MOZ only allow you to grab the traffic data of one clients profile from a google account instead of multiple profiles from the same google account for different campaigns?
If so has anybody got a workaround or any suggestions? If I haven't explained myself clearly let me know and I'll break it down further.
Thanks again.
Rob
Thanks for all your responses guys - i get it, cheers..
no it's for the one domain www.example.ie and example.ie (they are the exact same site and direct to the www)
I'm lead to believe I should submit the same site twice (www and non www)
Is this correct.
When creating Google Webmaster Account is it advised to create 2 accounts for the 1 domain. one for non www and one for www?
I'm just wondering how to do go about fixing these? I ses that they are not valid. Also once fixed do you think this will solve the sitmap issue? (like are these 8 not valid pages causing 600+ pages not being indexed) thanks.
Hi Guys,
I’m relatively new to SEO. I’ve recently started working for a website design company and am in the process of changing the anchor text in the footer of all of our clients sites.
At the moment most of them read “graphic design & web development by dara creative” with anchor text being dara creative taking you to our home page. As you can see we are not fully taking advantage of the keywords that could have a higher impact. So I’ve done some keyword research and I hope to concentrate my efforts on the following keywords as the anchor text leading to the home page; website design Dublin, website design Ireland, web developemt Dublin and web design Ireland so it may read something like
“web design Dublin by dara creative”
However this doesn’t read so well as people may think that the company might be called “web design Dublin”. So the alternative might be “web design in Dublin by dara creative”.
So my question is which would rank better? Does google rank the exact searched keywords higher than broader searched words?
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
