Can iFrames count as duplicate content on either page?
Hi Laurence Google tries to take the iFrame as associate it with the page it's on (in effect trying to view it as a single page) - so in their ideal world, you should look at the page and the iFrame all as one page and treat it accordingly. In reality though, they don't always accomplish what they want, so you might be OK. What I would do is check your cache and text only cache and see if they're caching everything all as one page. Here's their documentation on iFrames -Dan

Explain Competitive Link Analysis
The ratio of followed vs nofollowed links on a web page is not a ranking factor. You do want to keep the total number of links offered on a page down to the minimum number required to provide the best user experience. Repetitive links and unused links should be removed. Your page rank flows through your followed links.

Better to host videos locally...or from youtube/other sources?
I've always found it interesting that SEOmoz don't have a channel on YouTube so would be curious on their view for this. At Koozai we host videos on Wistia and then display those on our site. We did use Vimeo but they can ban anything promotional (even for paid accounts) so we didn't like the risk. YouTube was avoided as then people can advertise on your website via AdWords so we didn't want that. From an SEO point of view the best thing to do is to use YouTube as it's one of the most popular search engines so you'll get potential to be found on Google and by YouTube searchers.
