50% Organic Traffic Drop In the last 48 Hours
Hi Chuck As Donna also mentioned, there was a small update which was finally just confirmed by Danny Sullivan of Google: https://searchengineland.com/google-confirms-small-search-ranking-algorithm-update-this-past-week-306103#.W7AVMNe0y5g.twitter So that is the most likely reason for the drop you saw. As with any traffic change, I would recommend segmenting your traffic data by both queries and landing pages (this can both be done in search console) - to isolate which/if specific pages and keywords saw drops. If so, you can then determine if it was a site-wide drop, or specific to a set of pages and keywords. If site-wide, perhaps it is more technical related, but if keyword/page specific it could be more closely tied to the algo changes.

NoIndex or Rel=Canonical Pagination
Hi Chuck, I would also look into categorizing your URL parameters in this case: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6080550?hl=en as this is inovlving both sorting and categorizing the data on the page it's a good solution to tell Google more about the intent that you have on this page. PPC Manufacturer Keyword Question
Hi Chuck, Yes i have seen this before. I understand this manufacturer is also your supplier so they would also be cutting out a middle man (more clients would purchase from them directly) and leaving them with higher margins whilst at the same time reducing there cpc´s. If you remove all competition but one from a keyword auction it would lower cpc (how much depends on the minimum cpc for that keyword) but it has nothing to do with "low search volume" which is a result of a keyword having very small amount of searches (this is influenced directly only by the buyers and not by the sellers). Google will handle this by reducing the cpc that was increased because of competitor bidding auctions. Its not a pleasant situation and in my case there was nothing to do about it (or it must be a generic product for which you could find another manufacturer, which i think is not an option in your case)

Why has our site had a huge spike in referral traffic?
This sounds like Verizon's "Search Assist" page, which is shown to Verizon users when they miss-type a URL or try to access a domain that doesn't exist. How this happened to spike is anyone's guess. Here are two likely possibilities... 1. The browser hijack mentioned by Mike Roberts above could be trying to send Verizon users to a domain that doesn't exist, but is similar to yours (e.g. yourdomain.com and yourdomain.info) so when their browser tries to access the domain Verizon redirects them to their "Search Assist" page with similar results, including yours. 2. A company similar to yours, or perhaps even your own, could have been featured on a television show (e.g. Good Morning America) with a large viewing audience that isn't super web-savvy. Instead of typing YourBrandDomain.com into the URL bar they might think of it as a search bar and type "Your Brand" instead, resulting in the redirect to Verizon's "Search Assist" page of search results, which lists your domain as one of the results.

Google Search Results and Trailing Slash
Hi Scott, when did you set up your 301? If you look at the supplementary index, you'll find both your pages the one ending with the / and the legacy one. I'm seeing that google still have the cache of you non-trailing slash page in their index since the last time they cached that page was on March 2nd. I saw that you set up correctly the 301, so it probably will be just a matter of time that google will drop the old page and leave only the new "slashed" one..

Description and Title keyword Not showing in Google SERP?
agree, the homepage has an issue should rank first and the homepage indexing is the problem i believe he is asking about. doing a query for the domain name you see this is the URL that is showing http://www.oxygenconcentratorstore.com/ not http://www.oxygenconcentratorstore.com so http://www.oxygenconcentratorstore.com/ probably has or had the title tag "Oxygen Concentrators" and no meta description so that is why you are not seeing the title tag and meta description as seen in the source of this page http://www.oxygenconcentratorstore.com, it's a different indexed page in Google. a) 301 redirect the / to the non slash version b) make sure you are linking to the non / version in sitemap.xml files c) make sure the homepage logo and other places on the site that are linking to the homepage are doing so without the slash at the end e) add the canonical tag to the homepage without the slash in it f) when doing link building link to the homepage (if you must link to the homepage) without the slash. g) slash of no slash it doesn't matter, just do it one way and keep it consistent thumbs down that answer i dare you lol

Low Quality Directories “Blackmailing” Us to Remove Our Link
Well this site just made searchengineland.com. I hope their "100 directories" don't get de-indexed.

Penguin Update and Long Tail Keywords
Yes, however keep in mind that as you remove links you may start to lose ranking. I would recommend removing some, the ones that you can, and start focusing on getting good branded links.

Duplicate Content for our Advertising Sites Showing in Search Results
Sorry for the short response I was eating lunch. But now down to busnazzz. Which site do you want the rank when you search? When you do a nofollow I believe the site is still indexed just not fully, meaning it won't grab the meta data. But I searched both your adword and adcenter pages and they don't come up in my SERP. When I google the organic site, it comes up with all the right links to your site. So for now I don't see a problem, it might be your cookies/cache or logins. Use another browser. The only time i see the ...../oxygen is within the AdWords section.
