Hi J.P., you've received some solid advice from Bob. Like he said, though, it is difficult from the example given to tell if your suggested approach is solid. However, detailed answers to these 2 questions should help us get a clearer picture of the situation:

1. Why do you think the existing URL structure is a poor one?

2. Why do you  think the proposed one would be more effective for this particular site in terms of SEO performance?

And, of course, if you are able to provide examples of URLs that provide a bit more detail (and show any differences between the existing and proposed URL structure beyond the addition of a subfolder), that would be great, too!

Hi Matt, do you mean that you want to send the same thank you tweet to multiple people? If so, I highly discourage this. It will be highly obvious to your followers what you are doing, and possibly more insulting than appreciated. Automated DMs and replies can actually cost you followers. If someone takes the time to share your content, and you truly appreciate it, isn't it worth the time to send them a personalized tweet? (And it will definitely encourage them to share your content in the future, ahem.) That said, while you are most likely to maximize engagement if you respond organically -- as soon as possible after your content is shared -- I realize this isn't also practical. If this is the case, I would consider hammering out that list of personalized thank you tweets on a spreadsheet and scheduling them in advance (staggered, so you don't flood your feed with thank yous and overwhelm your followers.) Hootsuite makes it super simple to do this.  Hope that helps! (Christy)

I agree with Jarno, given the nature of your site. I'd also strongly suggest 301 redirecting any of the old URLs that have inbound links and/or are receiving organic search traffic to the new ones that will be created when you rename the images. (There are several Wordpress plugins that can make this easier on you.) If the images don't have any inbound links or traffic, you can simply let them 404. Best of luck!

Hi there, could you be more specific about which G+ button the question is about? There are several different types. Better yet, are you able to share a link to your site?

Yes, this is okay if the URLs for the images themselves don't have significant inbound links. (Just let them 404.) For any images that, do, however, have significant inbound links, I would 301 redirect the URL for the old image to the URL for the new image. (Notice I am saying image not page. Keep the URL for the page the image is embedded on the same.)

If you solely wish to use Google+ for business, then I'd recommend using your personal profile to build your authority as an expert in your field. Network: build relationships with peers, prospects, and customers, and be as helpful to others as you can. Attend Hangouts. Participate in a community (or start one yourself.) You shouldn't have an issue with pointing pages in different languages to your Google+ account (that is in German only.) Here's what Google has to say about this on its official blog for webmasters:

Q: If I use authorship on articles available in different languages, such as example.com/en/article1.html for English and
example.com/fr/article1.html for the French translation, should I link to two separate author/Google+ profiles written in each language?

A: In your scenario, both articles: example.com/en/article1.html and example.com/fr/article1.html should link to the same Google+ profile in the author’s language of choice.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Thank you for clarifying. I am revising my own answer to this: "It would be a very unusual case for a webpage to earn links from social media without earning them from other types of web pages as well." That said, I will ask some colleagues if they know of a case study and report back to you!

Unfortunately, we don't have a dashboard where you can view all of your MozPoints activity in that level of detail. You should receive an email alert, however, every time one of your answers is endorsed, and you track your total points earned over time on your community profile.
