Strategies for generating a knowledge panel for brand queries
Cool, thanks for the quick reply! I see a local KP in both instances (with location set outside of Houston), but they look great either way.

How do I get my site to rank in the right country?
Was the previous site in the your same niche? That would explain its "stubborn" high visibility in Google.nl, because you should also consider all the not linked mentions the site may have had in its history. Hreflang surely would be of help, but sincerely I don't know how you can implement it, because it was not thought for sites targeting only one country, but for multilingual and multi-country, hence Google Webmaster Tool could see it as a mistake and won't consider it.

For Local SEO on a business with many locations, should the city be included in the business name?
Hey Brian, This is something I've been mulling over for the better part of two years. I am assuming you've made a decision on this already, and I was curious to see what you ended up doing? We currently have 10 franchises, and continue to grow. We will have four offices in the Seattle MSP (currently all in different suburbs). I have always been concerned about how it would work with two offices in the city, but I felt being able to use an exact NAP for each office individually was important. After reading Dana's response, I'm now inclined to use the non-localized names for all offices. Which way did you go, and how is that working out for you? Any other advice or lessons learned along the way? Cheers, Logan

Is it Possible to Subscribe to an SEOmoz Q&A Category via RSS?
Thanks, I tried it with categories in a couple of different ways and I think we are probably just SOL if we want to keep up with new stuff in a single category. Can I submit that as a requested feature? I'm particularly interested in what goes on in that category, but keeping up with it is sorta difficult with the way it is today. If I could get a discrete URL that sorts by the latest for a category, then I can use existing tools like http://page2rss.com/ and http://www.feedmyinbox.com/ to stay up to date and contribute more regularly. Thanks!

Facebook Account Architectures (Pages, Groups, etc)
you are right it will be to much to manage all this groups. how about a page with Events for the different training groups? This is easier to manage and gives the opportunity for the others who weren't on that event to read the comments see pictures etc.

What are some good organizations an SEO company can join that are strong trust signals?
I agree, BBB is a definite must. $400 is peanuts for that seal on your website and the trust it builds for you in a user's unconscious mind.

Google Indexed the HTTPS version of an e-commerce site
let the people redirect to non https versions. what is the problem here? They won't loose items from their basket when redirected from https to http version. And when they are 'checking out', the protocol will remain secure via SSL as pages which need to be https wont redirect to non https.

Social Media Approaches for a Pest Control Company
First off, social media for pest control companies isn't nearly as sexy as social media for a taco stand. So any ideas of glitter and glamor are going to be as helpful as a rainbow colored unicorn. Just wanted to get that off my chest before diving in here. How I see social media as a pest control guy: 1- Maintaining conversations about interesting pest control subjects. 2- Building relationships with current customers. 3- Building relationships with current employees. On Facebook after establishing a fan base you can use paid advertising to friends of fans, using fans as endorsements. But don't expect huge returns here. It's more building awareness and trust. You will most likely not see Facebook as a last touch for sales. And it's hard to track the first touch. Funny videos can build links, but I wouldn't consider them great for building trust. I prefer the class nerd image over the class clown image. Nerds are allowed to make jokes, but your know for being smart, not for being funny. Lastly, check out http://www.familyownedpestcontrol.org we have just launched this lead sharing network, no cost to you. And if you want to guest post on blogpestcontrol.com I could probably get you in.
