We're doing a $5/day like campaign with our cover photo on this Facebook page.

What tips do you have in getting more likes, we're only getting like 2 a day. We need lots.

Themes:

Healing with alternative healing methodologies (orgonite - healing devices, MMS - a powerful supplement)

Helping wolves

Helping bees

I know we're an interesting niche and hard to advise. Here's our site. What tips do you have, just for Facebook?

By domains were spammy you mean the domain name our URL itself. I assume that's what you mean since that's all I have to go on.

So just to be clear, any site that does not come up (404, times out, etc), go ahead and disavow? All of them even though I don't know what the sites are about? Would I ever keep one? Just double-checking.

Many websites do not pull up at all.

What do you do for the different scenerios where a website does not pull up at all?

I just wanted to say that EGOL's and Fuel Travel's post are the most excellent responses I've ever received for our site.

Fuel Travel, we don't have many (maybe any?) competitors that are like us. We have competitors that compete with different aspects of our site (competitors for orgone products, competitors for shamanism, competitors for supplements) but no-one ties them together like us. How can we use this to our advantage, and what in the heck do we use for home page keyword - not that you can tell us but give us some clues on how to come up with them since we are so unique and almost too cutting edge in our field. There's not really a path set in Google and searchers for our site as a whole, just as pieces.

Please any more advice from anyone is also appreciated.

We recently launched our facebook page found here. Our website is here.

We give away 30% of our products and we donate to help bees, wolves, and people discovering themselves.

I am wondering how, without spending too much money (we have some money) or for free to improve our Facebook campaign.

We sell orgonite, art-like devices that absorb negative electromagnetic waves and help heal people with health conditions. We also are soon launching a little known powerful mineral supplement campaign (MMS - Master Mineral Supplement) to help people with cancer in return for donations if and only if it helps a lot. Our budget for that post is $100.

Let me know how we can, for free or little money, improve what we're doing. Any advice is appreciated. We're trying to do a lot of good for the community.

I'm doing a 10-step disavow check using this article, this word document, and this corresponding spreadsheet template. Doing a disavow for a non-manual penguin penalty (paid links, doorway sites)

It's taking a long time. Can you give me some pointers of how to speed things up? I want to do it right but I need to know how I can do it faster. Like tricks on domains to automatically disavow, what not to check, whatever tips you have.

I'm using Cognitive SEO and manual checking. I'd like to avoid pricy tools. I'm on a mac.

Got rid of the pervy quest.

How do you recommend we organize the site? And what do you mean by URLs are all over the place? We have one blog because some people are going to want a wide range of topics - the theory of everything - but maybe I can feature each separate blog at the top of the single blog and tie them together.

I'll tie together the home page and get rid of the stock images. What would you recommend for the design of the home page?

A client of mine really wants to go with a 3 keyword EMD .org

kw1kw2kw3.org

The other option is to buy a non EMD .com with 2 of the keywords in it.

I am leaning towards the .com, I don't think .org's are very professional, and EMDs seem to be going out of style, but please give your honest opinion now and what will happen in the coming years.

In one niche, all competitors have fettish backlinks. Some of these sites have related products on them, some are just information, but some border on porn sites.

I'm wondering which if not all of these I should disavow. There's quite a few.

We're doing a non-manual penguin recovery based on link building like paid links, unnatural anchor text and doorway sites.

In one of our niches, we have a big site with all products and a couple more sites that are smaller niches of the same niche.

The product descriptions are different with different product names.

Is this OK. We've got one big site and 2 smaller subsides in different niches that cross over with the big site.

Let me know if Google is OK with this.

We will have a separate blog for each with completely different content. There's not really duplicate content issues and although only the big site has a blog right now, the small ones eventually will have their own unique blog.

Is this OK in Google's eyes now and in the future? What can we do to ensure we are OK?

Superb advice. Can you give me an example of a website that has implemented this 5 or more page testimonial idea really well as well?

The client also wants to see a website that has done a really good job of showing where they are at immediately when they come to his site. He had a hard time understanding that it wasn't clear enough. I can find one, but do you have a superb example?

On this site, I removed a huge spammy location footer with hundreds of cities, states, and dog training types. The traffic and rankings have gone down a lot, and I'd like a discussion on how to rebuild things the right way. There's some local adjustments to be made to the home page content, but other than that:

My plans:

1. Analyze top 10 Google analytics keyword queries and work them into the content as best as possible, though I am debating whether the client should make new pages and how many.

2. I'm going to suggest he add a lot of content to the home page, perhaps a story about a dog training that he did in Wisconsin. I'll think about what else.

We write all sorts of intelligent articles, healing articles, have a Shaman who sells healing services, are on the forefront of product development in our field, sell products, and will eventually make money through ads as well. We are about to add a few products such as orgonite, see here, t-shirts, and we want to promote the services of this person whose writings are on this page. We're adding a thorough local and distance healing page (soon to come) for that person (Earth Thunder). Our donate page is here. We give away 30% of our products as gifts.

Should we just move to a responsive site and stay with a not-so-good pre made cart?

We'd like to use OSE to make a disavow list. Can we just go through everything with a spam score of 5 or higher that looks like spam when we visit the site and disavow all of them?

One of our online stores has half the traffic that it did a month ago. What can I check and what can I do to troubleshoot? I can't list the domain here, but what would you suggest? Could RankBrain be the problem?

So far I've

Checked the functionality of the site including the checkout functionality

Checked rankings for main terms, they seem to be holding

Checked competitors, there's some sales but I don't see that cutting us off this much.

Added content continuously for the past 2 months - quality, targeted, helpful

Updated the home page text to be more helpful recently

Checked for structural changes that would effect backlinks - found none.

Analyzed Google Analytics, still looking deeper.

What would you suggest as further troubleshooting?

What is possible as far as promoting a local SEO and Web Design Company with a blog? I'm offering simple web design, both informational and product based, as well as SEO for existing informational and product-based companies here in Boise, Idaho. At first it won't be face to face so there's no local SEO.

I honestly don't like to sell. I've done it for years and I'd like to spend my time blogging (mainly blogging), doing social media, and volunteering. How can I use this approach to get a beginning agency off the ground? Please don't tell me to go push my services. I'd like to get my company off the ground through avenues that have integrity to me.

I've got to put a 301 redirect on every page in an entire online store. We're moving to a better premade cart. Who has experience with this? How do I not lose traffic, if that is possible? What do I need to keep in mind?
