Every once in a while I have a need to add a graph / chart to my site.
Google offers a nice HTML5 chart builder and so do other web apps.

The question is... Which should I use?
A pinnable and sharable image graph or Interactive html5 graph

This will also put me "on her radar" but in a more subtle way - wouldn't you say...

Another last minute edit...
Going through her tweets I just noticed someone else (big with 10,000 followers) thanking her stating its an honor. The figure then favorited it and RT it in her line...

Does that change the answer?

I just "earned" an authority figure as a follower on my company's twitter account (not a big account - 600 followers).

The authority figure is the founder of a very relevant and big niche news site.

Should I welcome her to my community? Is it correct putting her on the spot?
Will it offend other followers who I don't welcome?

(Needless to say that I would love the opportunity to blog with them etc. - to have a relationship)

Sorry for the delayed follow-up.

I did play with it a bit and I do agree (and appreciate) with all responses but I think I can add something...

It seems that the basic fact of having a "G Follow" on every page already covers the rel=publisher part and the Google Structured Data Tool @Adam here recommended does show my company as the publisher even though I did not specifically add rel="publisher" (simply because of the Follow button).

This is also why I don't know if I need it along rel="author" since I have the "Follow" button on all pages but I assume that you are correct and the two are not needed together.

I wanted to know if finding queries (using the GWMT) that are under-performing (not maximizing their potential) either due to

A. good position but low CTR
B. low to medium position

and change on-page items (titles and meta description for low CTR, add content to low position) is a good strategy or risky and may harm me further (but what do I have to lose...)?

So since MOZ don't have a Plus badge onsite, it means that 80,000 people (uniques) clicked +1 on the G plus page?

And it is not necessarily that they have 80,000 followers?
(more people click plus 1 for support than actually want to subscribe to the feed)

By _"plus 1 right on the page" _ you mean that it also counts the 500-1000 pluses on each article page? (for example the 629 here: http://moz.com/blog/keywords-to-concepts ?)

On their G-Plus page Moz have 80,224 plus 1s and counting.
What does this number reflect?

Is that the total +1s people did on their site?

Is that the number of +1s people did solely on the G Plus page?

Is that the number of followers to their G+ profile?

On my eCommerce site I've placed rel='publisher' only on the homepage and rel='author' on all of the article pages. Is that the way to do it?

Do I need to add rel='publisher' also on the article pages besides for rel='author'?

P.S
Even though I placed rel='publisher' only on the homepage, when I use Google's test tool (http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets) I see my publisher ID also on product category pages (that don't have publisher nor author on them but do have regular +1 buttons). How is that? (bacuase of the +1 button)

As all that manage their social channels, I often track some of the posts and how people interacted with them. My question is quite simple:

As a business page - Should I thank someone for sharing my post?
I assume it would make them feel worthy and will probably cause them to share again...

However, will my page's followers see that I thanked someone (and will doing so annoys them if I now thank 10 different people)...? Who sees a comment my page puts on another person's share?

I didn't mean that I have a problem with the redirects...

I meant that I have a problem of placing a specific url (the old url) inside the href of the Facebook like element and its default is the page it is placed in.

If you have a solution for that I'd be happy to hear it

I must say that from my examination 301 redirects does transfer Pluses!

Since my blog is in WP I had no way (that I am aware of) for doing particular redirects and management to social channels so I did lose my facebook likes where I had dozens of likes per post which is a shame.

Would Google bot be able to enter the product pages? I don't assume the bot "scrolls"...

Anybody knows how to change a Facebook page name with more than 200 likes?

For example, how did SEOMoz change their name to MOZ?

I also don't get Facebook, we stopped advertising because of that.
