A bigger question would be have you seen a change in the amount of quality traffic to your site? In the amount of conversions? If those haven't been negative, I wouldn't worry about the toolbar page rank update.

You might not get a boost in rankings but if it is a popular article that leads to a steady stream of free referral traffic, that can be almost as sweet.

It's been about a year since my post and they have changed the page.  Now, if you want to see trust symbols you must go to individual sites. Look near "buy buttons" and in highly visible parts of the page such as upper right.
