Yoast Sitemap Best Practices
Hi Andrew, The answer often comes down to duplicate content and whether or not you choose to index these post types. If the posts are unique and valuable and you want to index them, it's generally good to include them in the sitemap. In general, most post types should are generally included in most sitemaps. On the other hand, if you have entire categories of post types that you've de-indexed, you may not want to include these. Further reading: http://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/

Press Release Sites
Other than prweb and prnewswire, I also recommend marketwire. In the most recent SMX, Matt Cutts talked about how google doesn't count the press release links because they are essentially paid links. The most important thing you need to think about when choosing the press distribution sites is how wide of a net it casts, so that your story actually gets picked up by journalists and they write about you, hopefully with a link. The actual link from the press release (ex. prweb.com/ xxxxx) has no SEO value, in my opinion.

Authorship and Circles
"This girl" is Vanessa Fox, and she is one of the most reputed SEO out there, apart being an ex Googler and having worked in creating Google Webmaster Tools. Said that, the number of people circling her has no effect on rankings. What may have an effect is the old good PageRank her Google Plus Profile may have (and PR of the people who follow her). In fact, every link on G+ that shared with the "Share link" function (and not reshared), is a followed link, hence pass link equity. So, what people sometimes attribute to an until not ghostly AuthorRank, in reality is a more classic Link Graph effect.

Should I Use Two Domains for Multi Language Sites?
If you want to rank for your site in both languages and have them crawled you need to create separate pages for each language. Read here: http://www.searchenginejournal.com/multilingual-seo/19903/ If you use an auto detect function your content will not cater good to your audience or Google.

Where Are My Listings??
It's not just the "average position" that matters - total number of impressions is a critical consideration in understanding what's going on. When you've got less than 50 impressions, it means that your listing showed up in results less than 50 times, regardless of position (not all instances necessarily had a particular entry in the actual #1 position). It's not unusual for a new site or new content within an existing site to fluctuate in rankings. Google has several algorithms - as one is run, a particular page might be placed in a certain ranking position temporarily. Then when another algorithm is run, the results could impact the original placement up or down. Over time, part of the process also includes Google varying placement in order to gauge reactions - if not enough people click on a listing in a certain ranked position, that will further impact results the next time a similar search is performed. The key is to to focus on the longer-term experience and steadily build signals to reinforce "this page deserves to be ranked highly".
