Tool to use to build disvow list?
Hi Adam, Before I go forward and really through and take a lot of time with it. And I have run through a couple test. Can you tell me if you have received anything from Google saying that you have a penalty of any sort? I have run your domain through a very basic search for malicious back links basically telling me if there are keywords in the anchor text or not gotten this as a result Via only 1 data source, we estimate about 1704 links with suspicious anchor text ignoring 1978 safe links automatically. Some of these may need to be removed! http://www.removeem.com/faq.php#suspicious I can see that sixteen-nine.net URL has been detected by open site Explorer http://www.sixteen-nine.net/2013/06/24/android-digital-signage-closer-adserve/ AdServe [No data] 43 Yesterday 12:09 am When checking the URL above I get an error when using regular open site Explorer however it is found using fresh open site Explorer. So it was just indexed http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/links?site=www.sixteen-nine.net%2F2013%2F06%2F24%2Fandroid-digital-signage-closer-adserve%2F I get No Data Available for this URL You have a couple of very strong URLs pointing towards your domain. However you also have some that are very hard to detect if they are negative or not. Without spending a lot of time For instance hear the results of one of your URLs that are making your domain now this evening oversight and everyone does make mistakes. So I would not say this maliciousness anyway shape or form however it will not help people click on the link because of the description below and the keywords really don't matter at all. URL http://paddorsl.com.au/index.php/functions/host-a-murder-theme-parties 70 Page Title - Host a Murder Theme Parties 29 Meta Description Joomla! - the dynamic portal engine and content management system 65 Meta Keywords joomla, Joomla Please let me know if Google has said anything and I will continue to search. Sincerely, Thomas

Old Linkwheel, should I remove?
Hi Adam, Oh yeah, I understand your point. And I do agree with you competitors can be ruthless in fact some people can have no moral center whatsoever. I was simply bringing to light the fact of what Google actually goes to people that they do catch rather be something that happens very only or more frequently. I apologize I came across as scolding or trying to tell you that you're doing something wrong. You actually did bring up something that is important for people to understand and I think it's important that anyone practicing search engine optimization should definitely never use the method of pointing bad links at competitors as Google I know that you understand I was not lying at all when I said how harsh Google is when they catch people that do practice illegitimate forms of search engine optimization or black hat methods in order to beat competitors vs beating them fair and square by creating higher quality content sharing it more frequently using all the tools at your disposal to essentially outrank somebody fair and square for the keywords that you want to record and hopefully they want reports well. I did not mean to say that you were doing anything bad. Please except my apology if it came across as me saying that you were actually practicing those methods as I did not mean it to. Respectfully, Thomas

Will google put logo's in as author snippets?
You would know you are flagged. When Google would send you actually a message to whatever account is linked to Google + account. They would also take down Google plus account. So you would be able to find out if there was anything wrong with it right away. The key to this is making the change to your real photograph that you have in this right away. I hope this is that of help to you, Thomas

Rank list of keywords by searches per month
Hi Adam, If you are just wanting to rank your keyword terms according to the number of searches per month, you can use any of a wide selection of free or paid keyword research tools. Probably the most well known and commonly used is the Google Adwords Keyword Tool. In order to get the estimated number of searches per month for the exact keyword terms you are seeking, type the list into the Word or phrase input field at the top (one term per line). Check the box underneath the input field that says O****nly show ideas closely related to my search terms. When you click "Search" you will see two separate lists. The first one will show you the exact terms you entered. You will now also see an option on the left of the screen to change from the default broad match to exact match or phrase match (I would normally be looking for exact match and local searches - USA by default). You can sort the list numerically by clicking on the column heading. To download just your list of terms, check the box to select them, then click "download" and choose "selected" from the menu that opens. This will allow you to save the list in a number of formats, including csv for Excel. The second list you see is a selection of "keyword ideas" which Google thinks may be closely related to the terms you entered. If you want to add some of these to the list you are downloading, just check the boxes before downloading "selected". If you want to change location (you are not in the USA), or just look at search numbers for mobile traffic etc, click the Advanced Options and Filters link underneath the word and phase input field. You should always keep in mind with any tool of this nature, that search numbers can never be exact, but it will certainly give you an indicative feel for the popularity of your terms. There will always be variations in search traffic from month to month, there are seasonal influences etc etc. As Ryan indicated, there are a number of other factors to take into account when assessing the keywords you are going to target and the Whiteboard Friday video he suggested is a great place to start. I would normally suggest that you also use the SEOmoz Keyword Difficulty Tool to help refine your list according to how competitive your terms are, but I believe there is an issue with that tool at the moment. The SEOmoz team are working on that, and you could make use of it once the issue is resolved. Hope that helps, Sha
