Login to see more (some text hidden by CSS height and jquery) will it ruin SEO?
Hey james, thanks mate. I'm thinking of other ways to let organic traffic flow... Since the website is kind of SaaS, but more like content as a service haha. The plan is: User is on the website for 1min 30secs or clicks 3 map markers or visits 3+ pages Popup will appear asking for a signup + payment If no signup: Cookie will be set for 6 months, if a users returns and cookie is detected (php) they will be redirected to sign up page Otherwise signup occured (I know, web developers could inspect element and hide this stuff). Do you think google bot be presented with this sign up stuff? And does google bot not set cookies? Will google bot be able to continue to index the site... BTW, I hid content with css, jquery for 1 week, didn't have much of an affect at all, slight decrease in search visibility, but I was scared to leave it for too long, i managed 340 sign ups though.

I dont understand how to serve images and media from cookie free domain ( second post )
Do you mind sharing the domains that you thought was cookie-less? Google Analytics does not set cookies when you are serving images or resources like js, css, etc. It only sets cookies when you serve a page that calls the analytics code. Are you using some king of CDN, like cloudflare?

How Important is Meta Description on Non-Entry Pages?
By non-entry page, I mean it's a page that may be indexed, now or in the future, but it essentially will always be buried in the rankings (unless you searched for the exact page title and first sentence words lol). In other words, it's not a page I'm trying to get ranked high so realistically its never going to be a page users enter my site through. The consensus seems to confirm my initial gut on this. With limited time to spend on SEO, you have to prioritize. Meta description on a "non-entry" page should be very low priority since it's not a ranking factor and the meta description will be rarely seen if ever when the page is going to be on like page 7 of the SERPs for virtually all relevant searches. The only case I can think of for doing this is if you are using Google for your own site search and you do want the page to be properly described in an internal site search result.

Change of address webmaster tools
First do one thing - Roll back what have you done with webmaster tool. Mean you don't need to change with old property as http to https. When GWT show your site with old property then create new property with https. Your problem would be solved.

Website disappeared from Google (need help)
Google usually pushes new sites to the top spots not because they will rank there, but because they are new. Maybe now that your site isn't new anymore Google removed it from the top spots... I'm just guessing here... Have you done some link building in the last 3 month? Anything blackhat?

Hreflang in header...should I do a Sitemap?
Hi there, There are many ways to do it. In my opinion: If the amount of pages is low, you can do it in just one sitemap. If the amount is really huge, do it in different sitemaps, stating in the name of each of them the language (e.g. sitemap-es-mx.xml) and create a sitemap_index.hml with all those. Remember that its best practice to have the sitemaps in the root folder: domain.com/sitemap Best luck. GR.

When I search my business, how can I make all my locations to a multi-location business appear in the map pack?
If the locations are fairly spread out and there aren't multiple locations in the same city, this probably isn't possible. If they do have several locations in the same city, can you share the website + query you put into Google?

How do I schedule the Moz Crawl?
I believe you can't. That said Moz crawler shouldn't take down your site, and if it does then you should really consider improving your hosting or checking out why is the site crashing, could be tons of reasons, such as: not enough computing resources (change your hosting); not optimized database queries; etc;

Website showing #1 in Local search, disappeared from Organic search - previously #1?
Hi William! My search Monday morning from California for "Florist Middlefield OH" is currently showing your client #1 in both the local pack and organic results. If you're seeing the organic ranking appear and disappear, it could be: Google testing things The result of whatever the crawl issue was or is; do you have confirmation from Google Search Console that the homepage is fully crawlable? Something else ... is there any pattern to the appearance/disappearance of the organic ranking? Like, are you searching for it at the office and seeing it, or searching for it at home and not seeing it? Or searching during open hours and seeing it, but searching after hours and not seeing it? Is there any pattern?
