  • Hi there, I've just had another look at your post in SERP https://imgur.com/a/3tZvW8r, and it appears that the structured data is showing for me? Was there any other structured data you wanted shown on this page? Cheers, 3tZvW8r

  • Hi There, Also depends your needs for the markup. Do you have reviews and are looking for the average rating to be display in SERPs? Do you have events that you want listing? The tool listed above by Sean, is one I use quite a lot and if you use wordpress you can just take the code to the end of the page/post in the source code. Regards Neil

  • Hello James, I believe Sean's have answered your questions. Just wanted to tell you not to overoptimize your image for SEO, you do not want all of your image file name, alt text, title text to be your keywords, that certainly doesn't help. For file type, I usually stick with JPG and compressed them using Tinyjpg.com before I upload it to my site, PNG typically has much larger file size. Cheers, Joseph Yap

  • Hreflang will help guide Google to understand the association of the pages. Rather than add another sitemap for the English pages, I recommend updating your current sitemap to include hreflang tags to the english content. Guide here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2620865?hl=en

  • Yes if you're able to create a static page for each major city it will make it easier to put more relevant content into the page, take a look at this example from golfnow.com Take a look at their sitemap: https://www.golfnow.com/sitemap.xml They have page that are dynamically generated: https://www.golfnow.com/tee-times/destination/park-city/hot-deals/search And also page with static content: https://www.golfnow.com/destinations/149-salt-lake-city Booking.com have a somewhat similar approach as well, this is their page with static content https://www.booking.com/city/us/san-francisco.en-gb.html Hope this helps

  • Ah - sorry for my misunderstanding.  So you are leaning towards combining the pages. So unit-conversion.info has a combined page: http://www.unit-conversion.info/metric.html When I search for "convert from micro to deci", they appear as number 8.  If I click on their page, it defaults to base and mega, so I then have to change the dropdowns. The number 1 result for that search is this page https://www.unitconverters.net/prefixes/micro-to-deci.htm - it has Micro and Deci preselected. unit-conversion.info only has 460 but Unitconverters.net has 50,000 pages indexed by Google.  Despite the "thin content", they still appear number 1 (admittedly, this may be due to other factors). As far as user experience goes, I would prefer to land on unitconverters.net because I have less things to click. I guess the art is in finding the sweet spot in being able to give a search result with context without spinning out too much thin content. Thanks again for your detailed response!

  • Hi Chris, Site is 15 years old. Redesigned and launched few months back. Pages are as old as website except some content and image changes Basically we give a summary of our features on the website pages, blog-posts elaborate much about these features. I think this internal links are more about technical SEO. Thanks

  • Hi There, In addition to Eli's reply, I have copied the relevant content from the post and pasting it here for your reference: Which DA is the real DA? The new DA is based on a much larger index that has many improvements, several of which are designed to make the index more like Google’s than ever before. You should consider moving towards the new DA (and the old DA won’t be updated after April 26th 2018, so the sooner the better). While there will be fluctuations as we improve the model and add features to the index, we expect it to remain largely stable and to be a far more accurate picture of a site’s authority according to how it’s seen by Google. Why is Link Explorer’s DA/PA considered better than OSE’s, and which should I trust? The larger link index with improved crawl selection allows us to produce a stronger model that includes a much larger proportion of the web. That being said, DA and PA should always be considered in the context of your competitors. A drop in PA or DA relative to the old OSE is of little concern if your competitors saw similar movement. Is Domain Authority/Page Authority an absolute score or a relative one? Both DA and PA are relative to the Internet as a whole. If Facebook acquired a billion new links, everyone’s PA and DA would drop relative to Facebook. Because of this, it’s always best to look at PA and DA in comparison to your competitors. What does a drop/raise in DA mean in Link Explorer vs OSE? How can I explain this to my clients when I’m reporting it? DA and PA should always be considered in the context of your competitors. A drop or raise in PA or DA relative to the old OSE is of little concern if your competitors saw similar movement. Reporting that your site has moved from a DA of 45 to a DA of 42 doesn’t tell the whole story, but reporting that your site has a DA of 42 while your main competitor moved from a 43 to a 37 shows that, relative to the sites you’re competing against in the SERPs, your site has significantly more authority and ranking power.

  • Hey, I'm sorry, I was talking about Ad groups. Here's an example of how I would set up my campaign with your example. I would set up four campaign separate campaign which is loft space, loft space - mobile, medical space, medical space - mobile then within those campaigns, you can have different ad groups to target the set of keywords of the products.
