We are writing 5,000 word long form content that is relevant and engaging. It is too long?
Hey there! There has been substantial research showing that long-form content ranks well. I would continue to review your Google Analytics data to make sure that these posts keep people on the pages and draw high engagement (which will contribute to it ranking well). The hot ranking factors trends lately relate to inner linking and website speed (Google Pagespeed Insights). So in addition to that, I would keep those factors in mind as you decide on how lengthy your content will be in the future. I would set up some A/B experiments to test with the above suggestions in mind.

Should Mobile Header Design Use Big White Area for Large Male Thumbs when 65% + of Visitors are Male?
I tend to opt for a min height and width of 48px X 48px (12mm X12mm) on all mobile button / click zone designs to accommodate fingers on a screen, that also applies to input fields too to make them easier to handle. As for the design aesthetics, I think a blend of the two designs would look the best. The spacing is neater on design B, but I actually like menu on the button (some may disagree). Best bet would be to set up the two designs and run as optimisation test to see which performs the best over a control period and then add some Multivariant tests trying some blended designs. Maybe use something like hotjar to record the clicks too, that way you can see if your hit zone/button sizes are working well. Cheers Tim

Which Schema type for retirement homes?
Hello, Are they selling the homes, or "renting" a room in the homes? In other words, is there are deed and a mortgage? Depending on the details, each retirement home's landing page could have both the local business / organization Schema, as well as something like this: https://schema.org/Accommodation I doubt you would use product schema.

Best URL when adding an SSL certificate . . .
Hi Wookii, I had the same problem as you have. In my opinion there is not much difference in www with or without. You can read more about it at this link from Moz: https://moz.com/community/q/should-i-get-an-ssl-if-my-non-ssl-site-is-ranking-well All the best, Daan (Djinq.com)

Hey Tommy! Are you able to post a screen shot of what you are seeing in the search console. Is your web host reliable to where your site is going down periodically? Just curious. I look forward to seeing the screen shot.

URLS in search results.
Hi, Google doesn't always display the metadata that someone sets, it does at times elect to used copy from the page. Though saying that; this is the first time I've come across google not displaying the actual page URL, this could due be a setting on your CMS, it'll be worth your while checking that all of your Plugins are correctly configured.

Best reports for competitive social engagement insights? (Moz or not)
Looks like the epic products have shut down. Feedly is a feed aggregator so I'm not sure where it fits in. I had Buzzsumo but don't recall it offering this kind of thing. I guess I should revisit that. Thanks!

Which is the best tool to analyze server log file?
This depends on the size of your site. In some instances, you can just use excel to analyze your server logs. Or if you have the resources you can use a paid tool like the SEO Log File Analyser from Screaming Frog. Here are some resources from Moz that might be helpful for you: https://moz.com/blog/uncovering-seo-opportunities-via-log-files https://moz.com/blog/technical-seo-log-analysis However, if you have a large site you might run into some issues using excel or Screaming Frog's tool. With a larger site, you might be better served either looking at a small subset of the data or using an enterprise analytics tool like Altreyx or Knime to do your analysis.

Should Medical Practices Build Citations For Each Practitioner?
Thanks so much Miriam, helpful as always! Do you recommend that the website links on the practitioner's citation point to the homepage of the site, or should they point to the doctor's biography page on the site? When you mention automation, do you have any particular service in mind? We happily use Moz Local for the main office location, is it also well-suited to manage practitioners' listings? Maybe they need to be created as separate locations?
