      Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone knows if you have to delete your campaign through your Moz account if you change a campaign you are monitoring from http:// to https:// - seems like it would be quite a dramatic delete for a security feature but I wanted to check just in the case.

Same website - just added an SSL.

      Thanks!

You cannot change the domain of a campaign once it is created. If you need to track content, rankings, etc. on a new subdomain or domain, you must create a new campaign – archiving and adding campaigns is easy.

There isn't a way to transfer data between Campaigns. In order to start tracking your new domain, you will need to set up a new campaign. Moz Pro provides data and insights overtime-related to a specific URL. If you are moving your website, rebranding, or changing your domain, just create a new campaign.

Also, Remeber to set your new main domain on Search Console and Googe Analytics, Keep in mind that GA is will be connected to your Moz Pro Campaign.

        Regards

          Hi there!

Great question! Roman is correct that you're not able to change the tracked URL for an existing Campaign.

That being said, if the only change made to the URL is that it is now https instead of http, our tool should start crawling the https pages without needing to create a new Campaign. You can check to make sure that the https pages are being crawled by heading to your All Crawled Pages section of your Site Crawl and filter by "https://" in the search bar. This can be a quick way to make sure we're capturing that update!

If you're still having trouble with getting those updated pages crawled, feel free to email us at help@moz.com and we can take a look to see what's going on. 😄

We are tracking our site with a Moz campaign and have recently updated the site with significantly more info and quite a few more pages.

Should we delete the existing campaign and start a new one?

            Thanks!
