Campaign in subdirectory
-
Hi.
I have a main site under the TLD and Moz sucessfully scans all URL's under that domain including for a subfolder on the domain. However, I have also set up a campaign for the subdirectory as it is effectively a seperate site (let's say it's like an ecommerce site with a blog is a subfolder).
Moz crawls the main campaign on the TLD including the subfolder correctly (I was previously told you cannot exclude a subfolder), but it does not scan any URL's beyond the top one in the subfolder campaign (I was told this setup was OK)
Any ideas why the subfolder does not get crawled by Moz?

Hi there!
Jo here from the Moz support team.
I've had a look at your site and Campaigns and it looks like this is a combination of javascript, which our crawler has trouble accessing, and your website architecture.
I've got a guide to internal linking and site architecture here
https://moz.com/learn/seo/internal-linkI've also got a guide to javascript and crawlability here
https://moz.com/blog/javascript-seoI hope this helps!

Hi Jon,
I have sent you more information via your support ticket in regards to our crawlers inability to find links from the subfolder used to set up the Campaign to the rest of your pages.
Please do let me know by replying to the support ticket if the information I provided helped at all.
Best
Jo :]
