Do any presentation sites, Slideshare, Google Slides, HaikuDeck offer great SEO links?

I do a lot of public speaking and normally upload my slides somewhere so people can access later. With most sites I can upload to Slideshare or similar, then embed into my own site. I do it for audience convenience, but it would be swell to get an SEO bump.

Hey Julie,
Uploading your presentation on Slideshare won't give you much SEO juice directly (links on your Slideshare profile are either in text format only or in JavaScript which Google give lesser value), however, could be beneficial for link building purposes.
In terms of driving traffic to your website, Slideshare is great way to bring relevant audience.
I'd keep uploading the presentation for the traffic rather then for SEO.
Hope it helps. Cheers, Martin

What Martin said. Most large sharing sites will always nofollow links to avoid becoming a spam pit filled with people farming links.
But have you thought about the actual event websites? Some will always collect the presentations from speakers, but it's worth checking, as those sites are likely to result in a nice followed link from a fairly relevant place (either relevant for subject or location).

That's a great idea Dan. I could give them a slide presentation and let them post it on their blog.
