Did anyone else noticed Google index bug?

Yes this is a bug, Although nothing official from Google about it, but as others including myself and SearchEngineLand mentioned about this as well today.

Also have noticed some funkiness with SERPs and only a few keywords acting funnier than usual.

I'm hearing similar reports. It's been a crazy week. We're seeing massive algo flux, Mobile-friendly 2, Google testing new column widths, etc. Odds are, though, that this really is just a bug and nothing to worry too much about.
