Page Authority vs Domain Authority for Inbound Links
-
When executed correctly, earning links from high authority sites that are relevant to my website's industry are still valuable correct? So I want to know what is more valuable to my site and influencing the ranking of my site? Is it better to gain links that have a high page authority or domain authority? What is more valuable to my site and influencing its ranking?

I would focus on all links that are related to your website. Generally pages with high domain authority carry a high page authority. As long as they're not spammy, it's helping you.
Try to create content that will get people to link to you without even hunting them down!

Hi there!
Not to sound flippant, but the answer is "both." Keep in mind that Domain Authority and Page Authority actually look at the same metrics. The difference is that Page Authority only looks at the link profile of a particular page, and Domain Authority looks at the link profile of the entire domain. Either/both will tell you whether a given page/domain is likely to be considered legitimate and trustworthy.
If you haven't, I'd recommend reading the Beginner's Guide to Link Building to get a solid understanding of what to look for.

On a given website, it is better to get links from the higher PA pages (all of the pages will have the same DA).
So a homepage link for example (which will usually have a higher PA than other pages on the site) will be better than a link from a deep, newly created page (which is likely have a low PA).
