Internal links
-
hey guys,
these days should internal links within your site carry no-follow tags?
or does it really matter?
thanks!!

You should use nofollow only for linking sites you don't trust or endorse, sponsored links, etc. but not for internal linking, the PageRank sculpting days of this method are long gone, and you'll just burn your link juice and impair it's flow throughout your site.
If you need to exclude some pages of your site from being indexed just use the noindex meta tag.
Check the following resources:
Should internal links use rel="nofollow"?

I agree with Branagan. Simply put, there's absolutely no reason or added advantage of doing that to your internal links. However, as Matt has said in his video about this topic, you could potentially do it for your View Cart page or maybe pages like Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, etc, but there's no need or advantage in doing so. So why bother ?
I hope this helps.

There is no way you should use no follow tag for your internal links... as Branagan said no follow tag should only be used when you are linking to the site you don’t trust.
Obviously you trust your own website and this is the major reason why you should do follow all link that are pointing back to your own website (to some other pages).
Hope this helps!
