Duplicate home page /index.asp /index.php etc

We recently moved www.devoted2vntage.co.uk to shopify but seem to have multiple home page variants still in google index. I am concerned that these will be causing duplicate content. If you just moved to Shopify, they should not be removed from the index right away. This can take a few days and varies. I would make sure WMT settings are correct and check on how the crawls are doing and if any errors.

The redirects are good and should be fine within days.

Thats odd. If there are no such URLs they should not longer index automatically.

You can go into WMT - Webmaster Tools and Optimization>Remove URLs. Also resubmit your sitemap if it doesn't get done automatically.
