Looks like "crawlink" is the fourth search result for it's own name out of 7000 pages. It's a pretty strong indication that it's a poor domain to be associated with.

Network with some bloggers and social media guys and ask them to share links to some of your interesting content.

If the backlinks are on a page with high toolbar pagerank, I would think that they might be considered authority and crawled decently often.

You may not get too many responses to this type of question here, since a lot of the focus of SEOmoz is more on earning high-quality, relevant links. Just the type of place this is.
