OSE Compare Domains had Gone
Just an FYI - we launched a new, much more powerful version of this today: http://moz.com/blog/announcing-improved-link-opportunities You can now access the link intersect feature here: https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/opportunities/link-intersect?site=fillinyourownsite.com inside OSE

Remove Meta Description Errors
This should change after recrawls. A few things to check for sure: Syntax. Make sure the meta description tag is typed correctly. URL Parameters. Check to see that the missing description isn't attributable to variable or session based issue. Browser test. View the source of some pages as a spot check to make sure nothing is changing between the code and the public facing side of the site. That should do it.

Hi guys. My site, www.x-mini.com attained more links and got better alexa ranking. However, my DA and PA dropped. How can I explain this?
Just because you get more links doesn't mean they are "quality" links. You might have sites linking to you that google considers spammy or link farms. Go to google webmaster tools or moz and check out your in bound new links. see what there DA and PA are, and see if they are quality pages that should be linking to you. I will assume there are some in there that are paid links or spam links, go to google webmaster tools and remove the links.

Why is Moz not crawling my backlinks
Hey Ashish! Felicia linked me to your thread. There are two types of link data we capture: External and Internal Linking pages. In order for us to discover backlinks to your site, we need to crawl the sites and pages linking to you. Once we can find those links, we will then be able to crawl your site to find pages you link to and so forth. Comment sections are not typically a good place to build backlinks as those sections on sites can be abused and come across as spammy. Run a search on OSE for the sites linking to you, check out their DA/PA to see if those sites have any influence that would help with discovering your links. Search other sites you can try to build your links on with high authority. The more sites linking to you, the better. Here is how we compile our index. We grab the most recent index. We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains). We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index). Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index. Other tools, such as Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, and Majestic will alway show more link data as they target the quantity of links, while OSE focuses more on quality and Domain Authority. It’s best to use all the tools you can to obtain a full backlink profile. Mozscape focuses on a breadth-first approach. Therefore we almost always have content from the homepage of websites, externally linked-to pages, and pages higher up in a site's information hierarchy. However, deep pages that are buried beneath many layers of navigation are sometimes missed and it may be several index updates before we catch all of these. We update once a month and you can view the next scheduled update here: http://moz.com/products/api/updates Hope this helps!

Open Site Explorer Top Pages https Title tag issue
Here is what i got after talking to moz-help people. Thanks to David Lee. Sorry for the confusion! The pages are not returning a title due to the pages having a 301 re-direct at the time we crawled them which was in November. For any pages with a 301 we will not have any information for the title and we do not show re-directed URLs in the app. If we were to re-crawl the site we will be able to update the data to show the https links. You can see back in December the site was still resolving the http version which had the 301 re-direct in place: https://web.archive.org/web/20140625093032/http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/ There are some new links in the queue for us to re-crawl the site so you may see better information after our next index release. It can take 2-3 index updates for them to appear.

I have the trial of MOZ right now but the open site explorer hasn't updated since Dec 4th
Ray is correct our next index is scheduled for this week (Jan 28th). CJ5 - I apologize for the delays we've been seeing with our index, and please know we'd love to get you fresh data ASAP. We had some unforeseen issues early in January that led to this delay. We are working our hardest to get you complete, fresh, relevant link metrics. I do apologize for any issues you have in the meantime!

May I know multiple campaigns set up, with same site url is allowable in Moz campaign or not?
Hi Michael, Thanks a lot for the detailed information. It helped to resolve my question completely

How often are Moz Domain authority and Page Authority Metrics Refreshed?
Messichessi, it's a good question. I suspect the sources of those incoming links to your site - the sites linking TO you - might not have been part of the 35%. It could also be that Moz only shows you a sampling of the incoming links it has inventoried, much like Google does.

Why are no-follow links in my blog comments across the web showing up as "equity-passing"?
Hi Grobro Do you have any other links that we are counting as follow that are using the "external nofollow" tag? Our devs are trying to find a pattern to rule out the possibility of the link not set as nofollow when we originally crawled it.

When requesting a CSV for an internal 302 redirect report, the data isn't aligning with the UI. Does anyone have any suggestions?
On that spreadsheet, in column A you will see the URL with the redirect. Column G is "Temporary Redirect" and those should be TRUE (on the 302 redirect report). Column AK is Redirect URL and it is there that you will see the page that the page in column A is redirected to. Are you looking for something other than this?

Why MoZ Bar gives different PA and DA to my homepage? Surly they should have the same metrics?
Yes, that is exactly it. And yes, your curiosity should never be completely satisfied...

Open site Explorer Facebook Shares
Hi There, Thanks for writing in and for using our Open Site Explorer! I'm sorry that you still haven't been able to see your likes in Mozscape. Unfortunately, this may be an issue our Mozscape update cycle. Mozscape is constantly collecting data but updates our database over a four week period. Unfortunately, if changes were made recently they may not show up until either the next update or depending on when the data was collected the update after that. The next update is on 1/8/2015 so I would check to see if the facebook likes are reflected there and if not feel free to write us at help@moz.com and we will investigate further. You can view the next scheduled update here: http://moz.com/products/api/updates Hope this helps provide some clarity. Please let me know if you have any questions! I wish you a spectacular day and look forward to hearing from you soon!

Moz Crawl Canonicals and Duplicates
Hi James, Sorry for the delay in the answer. The canonical was applied previously first time I did the crawling and now it is done once a week. I will review this week crawl and let you know if it keeps appearing. It should remain the same as I did not make changes. Regards,
