Learn how to use Moz's Link Intersect tool to build your link profile. Get your Daily SEO Fix!
Hello, I too am sad to see them go! I have found them really useful to find out what the current thinking is on issues which are often so contentious. It can be very difficult finding a useful answer on the interweb as so many views are conflicting.

Spam score question on shortened URLs
Hi Overthet0p - no, I wouldn't worry about the URL shortener at all. Remember that spam score doesn't indicate whether something is necessarily spam in Google's eyes - it just tries to show features that are correlated with things we've seen Google penalize/ban. So, a Spam Score of 9/17 means that we saw ~72% of sites with that many triggers get penalties/bans in Google. But, that also means 28% of sites we saw with 9/17 flags had no penalties. If you've manually checked the site and feel it's not a problem, changes are it's fine!

MOZ Rank Or MOZ Wrong!?
Howdy! It looks to me as though this may just be a hiccup within the MozBar plug-in; notice that the bar for DmT is partially filled, but there is no value displayed. So, I'd recommend clearing your cache and cookies, and potentially checking the value in MozBar for Chrome. Checking the value in Open Site Explorer's 'Compare Link Metric' section would also be a good way to see if the value does indeed exist :). If none of those seem to resolve the issue that you're seeing, then I would recommend writing in to us at help@moz.com with some more specific examples.

[No Title] for all Top Pages at Open Site Explorer
Hi Christian! Besides the other great answers provided above, it looks like this is likely caused by server errors, and also the fact that these links seem to be blocking user-agents. Are you able to make adjustments to either of these? If you have further issues, please write into help@moz.com and we'll take another look. Thanks! Kevin Help Team

Are Just Discovered Links Reports Working?
Thank you. Any idea how long this will take? It can't be all that hard to do, to at least add the ones currently say available on Namecheap to buy?

Open Site Explorer metrics report says we have 9 linking root domains, but way more than 7 are listen. What gives?
Hi there! When searching in OSE we'll deliver the page specific details, screenshot attached. When you go into root domain specific data this will be much larger! Hope this helps. 00000767.png

Use Open Site Explorer and the Keyword Difficulty Tool to find your competitors' keywords and how they're ranking for them. Get your Daily SEO Fix!
Thanks for the feedback Matt - definitely something we're looking into as we work on the next iteration of the tool. I think going up in report limits is something we can certainly do for the higher tiers in the future.

WHY still Moz OSE doesn't show updated data DA, PA & overall backlinks whereas Ahrefs.com shows all?
Hi Jordan, Yes you are right, "Ahrefs and Majestic focus more exclusively on furnishing a complete backlink profile" , but it doesn't seem to be right with the context you said that "our focus is specifically to provide data about your highly-authoritative backlinks" As I can see many many direct relevant & high athoritative domains they have linked with, it is not right you to say that we only follow to show highly-authoritative backlinks only, which is wrong in this case. What I can agree upon you as said "your campaign for that site has only been active for one index update" because as this domain is relatively new to the industry and there would be many chances this might have not fallen under your update during process. View when a link was first discovered in Moz?
Brilliant thanks! Checked all these out. To confirm the best way is to view when any link was found I suggest Google Webmaster Tools: Log into Google Webmaster Tools go to Search Traffic - Links to your site - Who Links the Most - More - Click "Download Latest Links". On this export you can see the link and date found by Google! Despite it's name it dates back (for us) up to 7 years. If you want to watch links as they come in then I suggest the Moz Fresh link Explorer (only goes back 60 days I believe). Thanks and enjoy! Sam

Does sitemap auto generation help in SEO 2015
Hi there Yes, you should definitely create a sitemap and upload it to both Google and Bing Webmaster Tools. This will help crawlers understand your website structure, the importance of the pages, as well as how often those pages should be crawled. I would also recommend building out sitemap extensions for other content: Images Video Mobile News From there, you can collect all of your sitemaps so that crawlers know there are multiple sitemaps that need to be crawled for different content. Here are some more guidelines for you to go through and here is a resource from Google that lists sitemap generators that will not only generate, but maintain your sitemaps for you - I highly recommend this as it will lessen your workload but will make sure the work gets done and is up to date. There are a lot of benefits and when done properly it can definitely help your organic visibility. Hope this helps! Good luck!
