Can I access old data/keyword research if I cancel my Moz Pro account?
Moz will archive your data for up to 3 months. That means it will save the data in your account if you are inactive but only for the past three months. If you reactive past that time, your campaigns should still be setup but the data will no longer be there. Also, Moz won't run any of the reports during the inactive time. But you will have access to the data should you renew in that three months time frame. One thing you can do is download the reports that you currently have setup as a reference point for future campaigns per se. That way even if you take longer than 3 months, you personally will have the data store in a CSV or PDF format. FYI, I don't work for Moz so this advice is from previous experience and not directly from Moz.

5xx Crawl Issue might not be issues at all. Help
Hi there! Thanks so much for the great question! I'm so sorry to hear you're having this trouble with the 5xx errors. To resolve this we'd recommend adding a crawl delay for rogerbot to your robots.txt file. That crawl delay would look something like this: User-agent: rogerbot Crawl-delay: 10 This will tell our crawler to slow down when it's crawling. We do not recommend using a crawl delay of longer than 10 as this can keep the crawl from completing. As far as whether this is impacting Google's ability to crawl, I'm really not able to help identify that. I'm so sorry about that! The best suggestion I can make would be to check the server logs for your site to see how it is responding to other crawlers you may be concerned about. If you have any other questions about rogerbot or the our tools, please feel free to send an email on over to help@moz.com.

Can Moz Monitor a JS Site?
Hi there! Thanks for writing in - Sam from Moz's Help Team here! Unfortunately not - I'm so sorry about that. Any client side loaded content will not be rendered to our crawler as we are only seeing what is rendered by your server. Our crawler works by parsing the source code of your site, looking at HTML elements. If your site is primarily Javascript, then the data you get back with regards to the crawl report won't be completely accurate because of this. There's no real workaround that I can recommend for this one, since it is a technical limitation of our tools, but there are some good blog posts and discussions in the Q&A about this if you head over to our Help Hub. While the tools and data that rely on our crawl of your site may not return the best results because of that Javascript, your keyword rankings and link profile should work just fine. You might also want to check out a few tools that are compatible with Javascript, like Botify or Screaming Frog. I'm really sorry I can't be of more help here; Please let me know if there's anything else I can help with, or if there are any follow-up questions you might have!

Moz not able to crawl our site - any advice?
Hey, We crawled the site just fine with Screaming Frog. Perhaps this is a Moz issue? Looks like they are well aware of it though. Thanks!

Can't Crawl Site - but deducting crawls.
Any time you initiate a crawl, it counts against your limits, even if something on the site is blocking us from crawling it. I would suggest that write into help@moz.com so we can help you diagnose what is blocking us from crawling your site.

Keyword rank tracking across subdomains
Hi Amy, If you set up a Campaign for the url 'website.com' we will automatically track rankings for all the subdomains on your site. However if you want to separate these out to show results just for a particular subdomain vs another you would need to set up two Campaigns one for www.website.com and blog.website.com You can read more about Campaign setup here on our Help Hub. I hope this helps! Jo

I'm a beginner. I want to know what this is 'DA'
DA stands for Domain Authority. Moz uses the DA algorithm to make a single score for the whole site. The Algorithm takes into account the links pointing to your site, total number of referring domains, total number of backlinks etc. It's co related to how powerful your site is and how would you rank/get traffic from Google.

How long does it take, So i can see results of Kewords Ranking search on moz?
Hey, Thanks for contacting us! Any changes in settings for a related section (Tracked Keywords, Google Analytics profile, search engines, competitors, etc.), mean you will have to wait until the next scheduled update for that section to see fresh data. In most cases, that means it should be reflected in the Campaign's next weekly update. You can check on when that update is scheduled from your Campaign Dashboard — just look for the little italicized date underneath the Search Visibility tile. Any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us direct at help@moz.com Best, Eli

Prevent Rodger Bot for crwaling pagination
Robots.TXT Rules If you have architecture like: site.com/blog/post/page/1 Then use: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow: /page/ If you have architecture like: site.com/blog/post?p=1 Then use: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow: /*?p= If you have architecture like: site.com/blog/post?page=1 Then use: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow: /*?page= That should pretty much stop Rogerbot from crawling paginated content. It would certainly stop Googlebot, but I don't quite know if Rogerbot respects the "*" wildcard like Googlebot does. Give it a try, see what happens Don't worry, in the robots.txt file only "*" is respected as a wildcard, so you won't have any problems with "?" and there won't be any need for an escape character

The difference between pa and da
PA - Page Authority DA - Domain Authority, basically the average of all the DAs

I'm a beginner. I want to know what this is 'DA'
Darin got there first! Domain Authority. It is the current metric to judge the effect a site has within the algorithm to rank for its niche. I don't want to copy Darin's post, I'd recommend the links he's given you. Happy reading

Moz site crawl doesn't work
Hey guys, It does give an error: **Moz was unable to crawl your site on May 3, 2019. **Our crawler was banned by a page on your site, either through your robots.txt, the X-Robots-Tag HTTP header, or the meta robots tag. Update these tags to allow your page and the rest of your site to be crawled. If this error is found on any page on your site, it prevents our crawler (and some search engines) from crawling the rest of your site. Typically errors like this should be investigated and fixed by the site webmaster. Read our troubleshooting guide. With that in mind, it does not appear that the crawl should be blocked with the resources in place.

Do I need meta descriptions for category pages in Wordpress?
Hi Jarod, What you should be asking yourself is whether you need those pages to be indexable and having information available to Google. If you don't want them to rank well, they probably won't need any meta description. Remember that if a page has no meta description, Google will take some of its content and place it as meta description. On a side note, Moz reports will show errors and analyze every page that you have enabled to be indexable. Also, you can choose to ignore what Moz's report tells you. You might probably know more about your site than Moz. Best luck. Hope I helped. Gaston

Crawler Accessibilit
Hi there! Thanks so much for the great question! The data that populates in the homepage insights module in your Campaign is pulled when your Campaign is initially created and we do not update that info with each crawl like your other data. If something has changed since the Campaign was initially created, that module will not reflect the change. Sorry for that confusion! If you'd like me to look into this further for your specific Campaign, I would be happy to do so! I would just need you to send an email on over to help@moz.com with the Campaign name so we can investigate. I hope this helps!
