  • Hi still getting this error on my campagin reports duplicate content errors? Thanks

  • Interesting, I didn't know that. Any idea of what's the penalty for having it in hierarchy vs together (i.e. this/is/my/keyword vs /this-is-my-keyword )? Also I would have thought the "en" word was just ignored by search engines. that's not so?

  • Nope, nothing you need to do. Moz calculates ranking using queries and setups to strip the effects of localization and personalization. In reality, it's rare that a large number of people will ever see the same set of search results due to these two factors, so Frederico is very correct in his assessment.

  • No problem! You are welcome! FYI, the page you gave me has almost no content unless a few lines and 3 pictures, plus the header with a little animation and the footer. However, it has over 10 scripts and over 5 CSS files. Heck, the first 135 lines are just the header, while the actual content of the page is from line 258 to 274 (16 lines). I would review all those wordpress files and remove as many as possible from the site while trying to merge all the others. You are making over 30 requests for a page that has only 16 lines of actual content.

  • Hey There, Keywords are kept separate based on which campaign you added the list of keywords on. I looked into your campaign and it looks like you have added 28 keywords to OHS campaign and 2 keywords for the colewebdev campaign. The 28 keywords on the OHS will only be tied to the domain you are tracking on that campaign and the 2 keywords you are tracking on the colewebdev campaign with only be tied to the domain you are tracking on that campaign. If the ranking tool you are referring to is here: http://moz.com/researchtools/rank-tracker, that tool is a stand alone tool for one-off rank checking. This is not intended to track keywords for the individual campaigns you have set up on your account. It does look like most of the keywords you are checking on that tool are for the URL that the OHS campaign is tracking, so I would recommend adding them on the Add/Manage Keywords tab of your campaign so they will be specifically shown within the context of that campaign. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Chiaryn

  • Yeah, a status code of 200 is generally a good thing. Could you direct message me through the site and tell me which campaign you're seeing the errors on. I can log in and try to take a deeper look.

  • Richard, you're absolutely right, it shouldn't be working that way. I've notified our help team so that we can make sure our engineers are looking into this.

  • That sort of helps,However most of our clients prefer the PDF version of the reports. We could send both, but it would require a training course to teach them how to understand the information in the CSV. Is it not possible to add this feature to the PDF version of the reports? When the PDF is generated, just check for the icons, if the icon is present, include it in a table. With very little programming experience I am sure adding this feature would be quite simple. I can't imagine that I'm the first person to ask for this feature. It seems like a low effort modification to the site that would help immensely. Here is an imaginary situation to put it in perspective for you. Client A isn't happy because the reports he/she is receiving don't show all the maps results they appear in. We tell them that they are ranking well in maps thanks to the work we have done, but Client A can only search manually to find them or sort through a convoluted CSV to determine where he/she is or isn't. Client A cancels because we are unable to provide adequate reporting at a reasonable cost. We are forced to develop our own program to parse CSV's into a visual report at a great cost to ourselves and our clients. This development is not shared with the rest of the Moz community who are left to deal with the same issue on their own.

  • Just to be clear and sorry to hijack this thread. With the KW Diff and SERP Analysis page you can only get search volume from Bing? Irrespective of the SE and selecting New Zealand I get no volume whatsoever? With Google keyword tool been very unhelpful compared to previous version this has made life a lot harder! Any suggestions as to best method to obtain country specific search volumes? Bing Ads Intelligence via excel is about as good as i can find atm!

  • Hi, No I don't think it indicates a problem. Your sitemap.gz is just the gzipped version of your sitemaps and it's a good sign that they link back to all your pages.

  • Hi Gina! Sorry about the radio silence. We pushed a fix on October 15th that should have addressed this. Are things still looking weird on your end?
